I really didn't think it was a difficult concept to understand, perhaps I overestimated you. We're in this game for fun, and jumping into a .01 fps slideshow with 20 minute module lag because there are 400 fighters and drones on grid grinding the node to a halt isn't fun or 'good fights' for you, me, or the poor guy at CCP running around with a fire extinguisher stopping the servers from bursting into flames. I'd have thought if you were interested in good fights, you'd favour any suggestions that improved server performance and fleet playability so we can be involved in those fights, rather than the current system where the defender can assign all their fighters, pop all their drones and go afk for an hour whilst the auto-aggressing droneswarm kills everything on the grid. Also, checking the goon forums for intel is really stupid since the fastest growing thread there is about a caracals + moas suicide op with target painters and cargo expanders, and last week was about the battlebadgers op (which killed a phoenix ratting in lowsec: lol).

So you agree that if fighter spam is fixed it would effect both sides equally (because, as you've stated, we use it too) and thus it isn't a political issue? Glad we could reach common ground. The flaw in you logic is that, you would have us believe that changing fighters, will improve node performance during fleet fights, it wont, it will simply increase the size of the blobs until the same situation is reached again, (as has been proved by the last drone nerf).
