Every time i logg in on, all my drones are no longer in their Drone folders. Meaning i have to assort them EVERY time i log in, which is a real pain in the ass.. especially on my carrier account.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried to re-install eve several times and i can't find the 'Cache' file anymore either :|

Your cache is stored in *yourdrive*:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\cache
Also check your settings and the folder they are stored in (in the EVE folder) havent got the read only property switched on, and if useing advanced file permissions (there will be a security tab in the files propertys page) that access hasent been restricted in some way.
Thats all i can think of, but hopefully clearing the cache should work.
Btw i think there is also now a button on the ESC menu in game to clear the cache, not sure though since i havent had to do it for a while.

Well thanks for the reply Alski, but i dont get further than this *yourdrive*:\Documents and Settings\*yourusername*\
I've looked through all the folders and such from there but i don't get further. I've also "searched" for Cache in both my harddrives and no result 
I also checked and theres no option to Delete the Cache ingame

Ahh sorrey, i probaley missed a step here, and that is by default windows hides the folders your looking for, my bad.
Open 'My Computer' or any random folder, and go...
Tools > Folder Options > View tab
Under "hidden files and folders" click "show hidden files and folders"
I think that should do it, but if not not then in the same window uncheck "hide protected operateing systems files" remember to recheck this if your not comfortable with haveing access to critical system files when your done.
Allthough...
I found the ingame clear cache option - its cunningley hidden under the reset settings tab in the middle pane (reset to default) and it should be the bottom one in the list, named "Clear all cache files".
If that doesent work, try what i said above about the "Settings" folder, OR just make a backup of the entire settings folder by copying it to your desktop or something, and then delete either the contence of the Settings folder, or the whole folder itself, Eve will replace it on its next startup but you will lose all overview settings, drone folders, player chat channels etc (allthough your client will still remember what channels you have been in at least in the channel menu) if for some ungodley reason this doesent fix it then i've got no idea what will and at least you'll be able to restore it from backup just by copying the settings files / folder back over, good luck
