Congratulations, RISE are the first alliance to try and kill a GoonSwarm mothership:

Obviously as they only brought 15 BS, 20 support and nothing else, they failed to bring his armour below 95%. But at least the 'brought it'. Mad propz yo

Please tell us who in the Goonswarm is giving RISE any sort of "grudging respect" so we can make fun of them the way we make fun of RISE.

"I know folks generally don't regard anything a Goon says as honest, without vitriol or otherwise uninflammatory, but I'll throw this "enemy's perspective" out there anyhow.
It's a pure and simple fact that RISE has lasted longer than most of the Red Swarm Federation's enemies. I believe that the at times inhumane bitterness shared between RISE and her enemies is one of the reasons why RISE sticks around. Simply put, they haven't gotten sick of fighting yet, nor does it seem to me that they will in the forseeable future. To that point, a statement like "Join RISE so that we can shoot you" seems typical of a Goon, it has merit if you think about it. We all play EVE to have fun; I believe that Goons genuinely have more fun shooting RISE than BoB under almost all circumstances. So if your idea of fun is being in high-stakes fleet combat, siege warfare, psychops (read: idiotic smack in local), political chicanery, and shooting people with a better sense of humor than you have, then please join RISE.
Especially you shuttle pilots. You guys are the only killmails I get in my t1 frigs and cruisers. :(
*ahem*
Keep your chins up and for god's sake don't stop shooting."
This is from a goon on our recruitment thread actually, Elizabeth Fallbrook. I for one enjoy Goons. I even get a kick out of your forum antics sometimes. One goon last Saturday I think, RoyfromCa if I recall, was doing his utmost to brain wash me while he flew around in his cov ops. Most fun I have had in a while. Well that and trying to find his spamming butt so I could shoot him in the face !
So yeah CCP gets my $15 a month so I can shoot goons, but I'm happy, and goons love to shoot and be shot at. RISE and Goons are g.a.y. for each other imho. But DO NOT expect a reach around next time you drop 25 towers in Hell's Kitchen !!!
See you in space my goony friends.

The towers were fueled, but unfortunatly the stront timers were not timed well, coming out on an English public holiday. With URSF killing the towers in 66-, KOS simply didnt have the numbers or the capital ships to defend from the BoB/Rise force that was there. Fear not, we will be back \o/
To those that bag KOS, saying we use mercs to defend our space... mercs (especially KIA) have some of the best effciency to resource cost out there. Why the hell not use them? We still hold our space do we not?

Lets be honest itĘs not Rise Alliance giving us any real problems. DFC seems to be the players bring the fight. Unless Rise call in for help to BOB.

Point of fact, you haven't had any contact with RISE at all since 08-03. That was long before the failed assault, which you apparantly took no part in...don't talk about things of which you have no clue.

I'm a bit curious. GOONs have been crowing on how many BOB towers they killed recently. How many towers did GOONs (and their allies) lose in RISE space? How many are left?

I can confirm that GOONs (and their allies) have lost 83 large deathstar towers in RISE space, not including small towers used as placeholders on moons. There are at the time of this post zero left. RISE space is an impenetrable bastion that has seen off countless attacks by GOONs (and their allies) and has so disenheartened the majority of us that we are giving our stations in Omist to RISE as testament to their greatness while we quit the field and must seek a longer route to BOB space that avoids Feythabolis altogether.
Let this post also stand as an apology for ever having took on the mighty RISE who have stood tall and proud throughout with honour that every player should seek to achieve.

I'm not sure of the exact number of large deathstars we've lost to the RISE war machine, but I can confirm it's over 9000.
