I have been trying to login for over an hour now, not exaggurating.
black screen..black screen..black screen..black screen..back to character screen..ctd.
Or it could be cause im in jita =/

Wanting my favourite game to improve is all. Is that too much to ask? Yes we all know Jita is bad for lag but why does it HAVE TO remain that way?

As long as too many people want to cram into too few computing resources, yes. There are technical issues coming into play. |

Easy fix then. Make Jita a less desirable location. Raise the sales tax until its popularity falls to normal levels enjoyed in surrounding systems.

Because people like to go and do business there. I know I do. My industrial alt makes good money selling rigs in Jita.
Eventually, as the Eve economy grows, it will decentralize and you will have a lot of different strong economic centers with Jita losing its importance. We're already heading that way with a few growing systems here and there. Until that happens though I really don't think things are going to change. Make it so it can run fine with 800 people in it and I will bet you you will see 1200 people there at peak times instead.

Really? I was under the impression that the reason Jita lags is because 600 people all believe that they can only get what they need there. Silly me.
