Today, we had an application from one Cyndia. Being a small corporation with no advertising, it is unusual for day old n00b players to apply to our corp. After confering with the interviews conducted by our CEO, myself, and the CEO of another corporation that she applied to, her stories to each of us were not the same. In order to verify this possibility, I gave her take access to a low security hangar, and later checked the status of that hangar (and to no surprise, found it completely cleaned out). While we dealt with this situation in our own, fairly effective method, I warn all personell managers out there to be weary of Cyndia, and to not allow her access to your corp hangars.

I think Skillz is the nicest person in the game but he has got a point on this one. There wasn't much point taking a less than day old alt in just to see if your hangar would be cleared out because the bugger would have just cleaned you out, deleted his alt and you'd be none the wiser to who his main character is. Bit daft if you ask me.

Well, I can add some filling to this story.
You see, Cyndia came to us first..
In her application she stated that "a friend" - unspecified referred her.
We usually approve applications and then have an interview and a week long probation period. During this interview she revealed the following:
She had applied to several corps.
She accidentially referred to Omegris as the one referring her to us.
She claimed to be CEO, big fighter type, of a Caldari MegaCorp with 150-200 members.
Anyone know a disgruntled or deposed CEO of that description?
She informed me that she had many BS BPC's and would build for corp. - I got the distinct feeling that would involve corp handing her minerals.
I had a gut feeling about this all, several things didn't add up, so I took more deliberate care than usual to explain our safety measures and rules.
After the interview she logged off, then logged back on and accepted the application from Omegris.
I contacted Omegris to give a headsup on the Cyndia personality.
Cyndia joined a third corp after being kicked from OTI, I was unable to contact anyone in that corp.
While thieves are a part of many societies, it will never, and should not be, a socially acceptable behaviour. To warn about them and take measures to protect ones interests is a responsibility all honest people should strive to take.

Looks like she did our whole system, as I recognize OmniTech and Xraal as me faithful neighbours.
Got the same message, explaining she was directed to my Corp by a friend. She explained she was an experienced Scientist.
Two big mistakes on her part. One: Anybody directed to my Corp by a 'friend' would've applied in Dutch, not in English. Two: When I looked at her Corp Record I noticed she was created on the same day she applied... some experienced Scientist.
So she was dodgy to Lumi and back again. Had I known she'd applied at the other Corps in the area as well, I'd have given you a heads up.
Told her to shove it in a 'nice' way. My Corp's invitation only anyway to people I know in RL, just to avoid these things.
[ed. In her application she listed the need to look into all hangers as well as all member hangers (security officer). The third dodgy bit about her.]
