None of them smacks on the forums or says stupid stuff, most of them have very good posts, worthy to be read. They have been beaten down completely and are still doing fine, respect. We now own 4 outposts, and all of them are very much FIX owned and operated. I've yet to come across an alliance I would consider perfect; FIX, like everyone else, have our own set of challenges. Those challenges evolve with time ofc, old ones pass on and new ones come along; what was a challenge for FIX a year ago, may not necessarily be one today. Internally in FIX, this isn't really a popcorn event. BA didn't break under pressure due to the long wars we've had, that's not in their make-up. I won't make any predictions on the future for BA, that isn't my place to talk. The truth doesn't hurt, it's simply what it is. FIX will continue, as will BA; perhaps our paths will cross again later on. There are old soliders, and there are bold soliders. But there are very few old, bold soliders.

Black Avatar simply felt that it was time we step away from the alliance after almost three years of service to an Alliance that deserved our best, in a region that has been in our hearts since it was called JK-FIX. Firmus Ixion will do fine without us. We don't really have anything to hold a grudge about. It has been an honor to fly with the best in the game and actually participate in some epic events that defined the game's history. As for grudges, posts, and "I told you sos..." we let our actions speak for themselves. While we were in Fix, we put our all into that alliance. We haven't any reason to change our standings or view of who we trust, like and work with. No matter what others try to make of the situation, the BoB community stands strong because it operates with honor among its members. There is nothing more to see here. The danger that you will lose the ability to handle things on your own. I am not saying that FIX is at this point so far, but there is always the danger. Look at the north a bit ago, people relied on the help of each other and the famous NNAP and when MC rolled in and they didn't defend together they got steamrolled (admitted, there were lots of other things also). Or look at other examples. If you think 'no worries, our friends will come to help us anyway and pull us out of the ****' and if that happens over and over again it will lead to a dangerous set of mind. And saying that building outposts makes your space less vulnerable and more secure... well, it is true for some part. But the drawback is that it makes your space at the same time much more interesting to conquer. And an outpost itself doesn't doesn't save your butt anyway as the Xelas example showed

Mainly due to the fact that once the big names showed up, the little ones stopped being mentioned. FIX isn't just sitting back on its laurels and doing nothing. If anything, FIX is just as active as it was once this war started. Yet once MC and Co. showed up, they became the CAOD center stage. Which, honestly, isn't a bad thing. As for outposts, they're the double-edged sword of 0.0. If you don't have the internal framework to not only keep them running, but properly utilize them, then they're a bane. However, if you can keep the POS's defended, have sov, and have the industrialists that can handle their operation, then they're a major, major asset. It's all in how you wind up using them. It was that way when the first conquerable stations came out. Though, albeit, it was also a lot more frenetic and much like an arcade style shooter at times. =) ====================================

When you spend a certain amount of time in a cloaked ship, watching your former stations turn into your enemies capitals, you should reflect on what it takes to own space, and realize that you don't have it.

The loss of a major corp proves this, whatever the reasons. You have not/can not put up a fight by yourself, even by blobbing. This was the case last year, and is still the case now.

However, that was quite a hole they dug for themselves there, so it will be a culture shock for them not having the safety cushion of an alliance around them, and, most importantly, the bob and mc cap fleet available to come bail them out of tricky situations. I hope the future of eve lies in smaller groups looking after their own concerns in an intelligent and interesting way, and if thats what comes to pass, I'm sure that they will be there doing their thing. My personal experience with them is this: Having interdiction camping near you, is somehow nice. I don't know, what is wrong with these guys. They use good equipment (all use t2), good strategy, since a failed engagement vs a cloaker camp of them, I have the suspicion, they have spies in IAC TS. I ended up as "bait" without my gang supporting me in a 1v3 (becasue they bubbled them on the other side of the system) and killed an enyo. They never killed me, though I travelled plenty of times through their cloaker camps or was ratting only 1-2 systems away from them. It could come worse.
