Yes there's a new champion.
A Few Days In September. French movie which got an english subtitle here, which is not an english speaking country, that suckered us into renting it. Finding out it was french we went 'ah hell no!' but we decided to give it a shot, it was so horrid I don't know where to start, check it out and see if you find the plot and the reason behind 90% of the shots.
Supposedly it was about spies during the days leading up to September 11th, a good selling point we figured, some Bourne drama going down, it was not that, it was pillowfights, discussions about the filthiness of man and some weird love triangle where the brother got his sister in the end...

I just picked up a slough of cheapo sci-fi DVDs (4 films per disc )
I'm digging through a lot of trash, but the best of the worst so far is War of the Planets (English title)

SPAWN (I would prefer watching a bug climb up a white wall for 2 hours than watching that movie again.)

Worst movie ever is Tripple XXX with Ice Cube.
Its horrible, its so horrible its unwatchable. You have to be 14 and drunk in order to tolerate the incredible horrible acting of Mr.Cube. I ordered a pizza online and got the film as a bargain, it was so bad i broke the disc in two and sendt angry email to the pizza place.

I liked Existenz, but then I am a Cronenberg fanboy.
I think my nomination for worst film ever has to be Bad Boys 2. I started watching it and gave up after 20 minutes because I was afraid I was catching ******ation from it.

tis the only film I have walked out of at the cinema.
Napolean Dynamite gets a vote from me because I was told it was the funniest movie ever.
I turned the DVD off after an hour because I never laughed once. Not even a half assed lazy chortle.

Were all the movies listed here at least in focus? If so, they're automatically better than "Manos: Hands of Fate". You may think you've seen bad movies, but after Manos, you will realize that all those other movies are at least competent productions.

Because the movie was no worse than the book.
If you want an example of a movie that did no justice whatsoever to its source material, a movie that makes you want to hang the director up by the balls and smack him around asking "did you even read the book you jerk?!" then look no farther than Starship Troopers.
