I have played Eve for a while and tried most things, but I have settled on manufacturing as a career as this is something I enjoy, but manufacturing to just make money is dull and I want to help others. Therefore, I decided to start up my own corp and help players out, particularly newer ones as I have seen many corps that exploit new players, by getting them to mine, mine, mine, with no help or training, while senior corp members do the fun things and we all know that unless Eve retains new players then it will ultimately fail and mining for months on end is soul destroying.
At the moment I am in the planning stage so I have not recruited other players yet as I want to make sure that being in this democratic corp is an enjoyable experience for all, not just a few and that people get out what they put in. (So any suggestions here on strategies used by successful corps will be happily received) I am also looking for 3 people who will help run the corp in its early stages (A specialist miner/refiner, A combat specialist and a diplomat/leader) so if you are interested then please let me know.
I also want to make sure that I have a firm manufacturing base to help equip new players and to this end, I am looking for donations or relatively low cost sales of BPOÆs, BPCÆs and any equipment and ISK particularly from players leaving the game who want to make sure that their gear is being used for the good of the Eve new player community. (I currently have some BPOÆs, which I will be investing in the corp as well as all my own cash!)

@Top Dog: You have my full support, I'll contact u this evening. I might have some cruiser BPCs that I can give u.
I agree that most big corps cant be bothered with new players and leave them on their own. I think managing a big corp also means training of your new members!!

My corp also tries to help out newbies, but we are small to medium sized.

I'm not rich as far as isk goes but my agent continues to spam me with blueprints.
I'll put them on Escrow to you in Pator for you to collect. Not sure how useful they'll be but it's all the help I can give atm.

Just one question,....why does every thread get a troll. Sweetcheeks, this is going to cost of a lot of time and effort not just ISK. If you wish to be constructive then be my guest. I am personally selling nearly all my current gear so that I can buy the right stuff for the New people.

I understand and commend your effort. I had the same mindset as you when creating my corp, providing training, skills and ships to members just starting out. It has been a fun and rewarding part of this already immense game.
I don't gain, the members do...but it's rewarding to help others get on their feet while operating in a team based environment.

Thanks Everyone for your replies. I have at least mailed everyone in game, but I cannot find any items on Escrow that people have placed there...is Escrow bugged atm?

How will people know that their donations are not only going to add to your personal fortune? There are no garanties and furthermore your character doesn't have a corp tag here on the foruns. Personally i help newbies by going to the help channel and provide any info they might ask. If 1000 players contribute with 500.000 isk this guy can become 500.000.000 richer. If only we had proof that the money would be well spent...

Well like most things in this game you can't guarantee anything 100%. However, setting up something like this takes a LOT of time and effort and if I was doing this to scam ISK, I would be better off indulging in a spot of hangar theft.
So far I have set up the corp (check my details in game) and I am just working on organisation. Unfortunately I am trying to recruit senior members but have not had much response. I need 3 people as per my original post.

Anyways I'd donate crap but I don't like the corpname :| Personally I help newbs by teachnig them how to play and by letting them join me on bistot ninja mining ops for 50% of take...
