Eve client has shutdown 5 times today saying the connection to the server was closed.
It's not my ISP because all other connections are working.

Has happened to me as well, since the patch. And it is possible to log on right after crash. --------------------------------------------- When you have to kill a man, it takes nothing to be polite |

Yea, I still get them once in a while but not like I was a few weeks back. I couldn't play for over a week because the game would not stay logged in for more than 5 minutes without crashing and giving the "Connection to server was closed". So feel lucky its only 5 times a day for you, not every 5 minutes. By the way, ya wanna know how i solved it? New router, thats right, a new microsoft wireless router. Unplugged the lynksys and installed the new one and played for over 8 hours without a hitch. Last I heard on my petition was that the GM's were forwarding my logs onto the web team.

I have been suffering from bad lag since January for some reason. I have not been able to nail it down as other internet uses like email and the web browser work fine as well as other online games and chat.
However, funnily enough, I was on yesterday and it was the best performance I had gotten from eve since late last year.
Maybe the server is taking it in turns with large groups of people to lag for a month at a time. ------

Post-1389 I'm having all sorts of this occuring; so are my corp mates. Unfortunately it's not regular enough yet to be able to run the logging utility.
Something definitely got broken, it's just a question of what, and how long it's going to take to find it.

It's started again - every 5 minutes Eve closes down and, funnily enough, can't load the Eve forum.
Are the Eve website and game servers in the same place?
If so, how do I do a trace thingy to find out where the problem lies?

I've been getting the same. Lossing connection and a few time my Eve client just quit! And it just been since the last patch.
Before that I've had hardly any problems!

My NetGear DM602 router isn't the problem - it works perfectly fine all the time.
It's just Eve and the Eve website.

I've had no problems whatsoever with lag or disconnects. Have a 2 Mbit/s ADSL connection

I just used WinTools to change my connection settings a little bit and it's holding steady.
