I signed up yesterday. It appears that I got double-billed (two pending charges for $19.95 on my credit card), there's been no response to my petition about it yet, and now the game froze up, and after I exited I couldn't log back in.
I'm thinking signing up was a huge mistake. |

wasn't a mistake. EVE is a good game...you just came on around a patch...it happens.
lots of code flying around to make our universe work....

Eve crashed three times yesterday - BEFORE downtime and before the patch. Eve has a problem that CCP can not identify or fix, and they continue with a patch. Reckless.

The problem is that lately this hasen't been revolving around patches. They've been having crashes pretty frequently as of late. Much as I love EVE, I would be inclined to tell new players to hold off for a bit till CCP gets it together.

i never sign up for long subscriptions for this reason. i look at the extra money i pay as insurance, insurance that i can say '**** you' to any game and let my feet do the talking
