i was gonna whine, but don't really see the purpose. i guess if i really sit back and think, there is prob more here than meets the eye. all it takes is a bad stick of ram, bad cable, heat problem, leaky roof, who knows. anyway, downtime helps me to realize that i have a life that doesn't involve missions, stargates, NPCs, and other anomalies. i just realized i have a family and kids living with me??? they weren't there the last time i looked in my raven : )

Well I undocked from my computer and went outside, but the environment is not very well suited to humans IMHO.

FYI, EveMon seems to still be working, so you could check your skills that way. guessing it's a different server for all that info

I in no way wish to be numbered amongst the complainers, for I was fully aware of the random clusterf**ks that can occur with any computer-related activity well before ever agreeing to pay for continued playing time in EVE.
I am a little concerned for where this is going to leave my character, as I was in a time-sensitive agent mission with "important faction standing" considerations. At the time of my noticing that there was something 'odd' about the way the game was handling, I was in combat outnumbered three to one in a deadspace complex. I have had situations like this before which seem to end up with screwed up agent standings and missions that are unable to be completed.
Either way I would still prefer to just chalk it up to a glitch in the time-space continuum rather than somehow ****ing in the wind by adding grief to the folks behind the scenes... who have enough crap to deal with anyways.
Keep it going CCP. 25,000+ patient and dedicated players keep the faith.

i've been being a sad bas!*@d....i've been looking at the website of the hotel/resort in Peurto Rico (us) that i left 12hrs ago, back to england now and i'm certainly missing the warm atlantic swimming, the sound of the frogs, the pool............

Server is stuck in the space-time continuum previously mentioned, as restart time is now looping. fingers crossed, it's still better than the ominous "Unknown"
