wow, it took people this long to whine about the Nos change?
Seriously, Nos needed the nerf so bad it wasnt funny. Be thankful they didnt remove Nos entirely. -

My nosdomi works just fine. In fact, it works BETTER since the patch because it's immune to counternos.

I say re-nerf it (undo the nerf and then nerf it more appropriately)
The current nerf is pretty terrible from the stand point that it doesnt interact with other game mechanics and that better ship setups (higher cap recharge rate, higher cap capacity) benifit much less from nos.
Nos should act on sig radius, not cap % compared to your own. Making it less effective if your opponents cap starts getting low is fine, but your cap level should have nothing to do with that. The max drain needs to be based on the sig radius of ships so that a heavy nos cant sap a frigate to nothing in one pull.
Essentially in my opinion, it wasnt that nos didnt need to be nerfed, it was nerfed in the wrong way.

If you have a high cap recharge rate and can sustain cap...you don't need a ******* nos. If you're fitting it to kill someone's cap get a neut. If you're fitting it to sustain your own cap use a nos. If your cap can sustain you don't need nos.
It's pretty simple

I like this idea, but still doesn't stop full on Domi NOS fleets nosing their way through nossingham... nos.
I admit, took a bit more teeth out of the NOS than it should have tho, they're practically useless, even as a defensive tool. Maybe if they crippled your target's recharge rate too. So it doesn't take more cap than you have, but it prevents them from regaining cap.

Definitely not. Nos was just too overpowered in it's previous incarnation. Now maybe smaller ships will stand a chance against larger ships once more... Without having the severe dampener of being insta-drained by the standard 3-4 heavy nos battleship setups. ----------------------------------------------

I disagree, I think nos now is excellent, especially for small ships both to preotec them from a large nos draining them completely, and for them using it too.
Fit something like a Jaguar with a nos and MWD and you have a pretty good heavy tackler, and using nos in the way I think its intended; leeching cap from a larger ship to sustain your own, but without ever really completely draining your target.

also it adds some depth to cap boosters - if you're in a cruiser with like 1100 total cap and you're using 800s, a nos boat is going to grab a good bit of that before you can use it. if you're using 400s, your cap/second isn't as high but you won't lose as much to nos.
