Just wondering whats the diffrence with having a -16 quality agent and a +16 quality?
At the moment I'm running errands for the first lvl 3 agent that was available to me and she is -16 quality. The question is if it's worth switching to another agent with better quality or just keep at it.
My standing is high enough with the corp that I can chose any agent besides the lvl 4.

Quality is the basis for computing an agent's Effective Quality, which also includes your skills and standing with their corp.
Effective Quality (EQ) has a quantitative effect on R&D agent's RP per Day as per This Link.
As for normal agents, the Dev's have assured us that it has some effect on mission payout, but the difference is so minute in contrast to the 'random' factor of the payout as to not be noticable unless you have a large set to contrast against.
As a result, it doesn't mean all that much.

TomB: End the speed-race. 1 propulsion mod allowed, make turrets affect ship attributes like +speed/+ab speed +agil for progressivly smaller/lighter turrets, -speed/-ab speed -agil for long-range. |

Right now I'm doing missions for a lvl 3 agent(normal not research) which has a quality of 0 and an effective quality of 16(or so) yet I've never got any bps(wouldn't care if it was anything worthless I just want to know if i will get any bp at all). I think I've done about fifty missions...should I do more or better change the agent ?

I have a level 3 agent with a quality of 16, and an E.Quality of 44.
When I first started doing missions for this agent, I would get missions that paid 40k base reward. As my E.Quality went up, the rewards increased.
My base rewards are now averaging about 100k each mission. I've gotten as much as 280k with base and bonus.
Train up negotiations, I'm at level 4, I plan to go to level 5, it's realy worth it!
