Since 2004, Red Core has been a regular sight in New Eden. Occasionally we have played a crucial role within galactic affairs, at other times, we have been quiet and simmering.
Now, Red Core is once again looking to revive past glories and take a prime position within the EVE universe. However much time has past since these heights were achieved and to do so again will require much planning and consideration of the future.
Since our revival only 1 month ago, we have gone from a small group of 5 to an impressive and very enjoyable group of almost 40. We have had the great privilage of being able to concentrate on recruting only the most suited players for our newly formed collective and so far, the results have been beyond expectation.
Each day almost, we grow by one or two additional pilots of great character and atitude. I am very glad to be able to announce that we are almost upon our first and most important stage in our recruitment efforts. The stage where we take what we have and concentrate on developing and improving our great team.
Even more exceptional is our level of activity within the member base. with the exception of 1 or 2 RL afk's every member is on almost daily and our online count is rarely not in double digits.
So to the purpose of this post. I would like to appeal to any pilots within the EVE universe that are not in exactly the corp they wish to be in already, to consider joining us and making us as a group even better. Im VERY new to this game and im trying to learn the ropes. I have a love for pvp in all games and pvp in EVE seems to be massive. I would love to learn to pvp and am willing to learn. Hey everyone,
While not .. currently .. a viking I poked Rasplock earlyer for a chat ; He got me all motivated n thirsty for ... space metal .. ?
Anyhoo, like Josh I am (terribly) new at this game *cough* started today *cough*, Im having a super phun thyme however even on my lonely lonesome. Kind of looking for a fun group of people to play with though; the galaxy is wayy to big to fly around on your own... And well lets be honest ; vikings and pvp, what can go wrong?!

Good morning Red Core! I'm getting a little tired of logging on EVERY evening to find 1, maybe 2 people from my current Corp online. I'm a young aspiring capsuleer looking to broaden my horizons. I currently meet the criteria (2.5+ Mil SP, 28 yrs old, Teamspeak3 or Vent) and play during 15:00-23:00 EST (20:00-04:00GMT) and also 08:00-14:00 EST (13:00-19:00GMT) depending what shift Im working that week.
Bored at work, I haphazardly stumbled in here with an open mind and an eye for a possible new corp. I'll be getting in contact with the channel when I get home from work tonight.
Just a little about myself, I have very few PvP experiences, but I'm learning daily. For now, I mostly run solo LvL 4's in high sec to bring in cash, and once in a while LvL 2 missions in low-sec to get accustomed to watching my back while mission running. Most of my assets reside in Amarr Homeworlds/Nakri (high sec)/Faswiba (low sec).
I'm currently trained in Amarr ships and have a Navy 'Gheddon, Abaddon, and a few smaller menial ships. Right now I'm working on Hull 5 ugprade and then resume the Energy Turret Specs (I have Small Pulse T2s done, next is Medium). I also have a few skills for Minmitar frigs and that awesomely fun dessie Thrasher.
Gotta get goin for now but I'll join ya'll in chat later today. |

Nothin wrong with a little LMFAO :D Although I do prefer a little DeadMau5 or Skrillex while EvE'ing.
And thanks for letting me tag along, I had tons of fun the whole time, even if we didnt find anything exciting. The Drake trying to bait us was funny, and the little bit of action at the very end in the bubbles was a new experience for me. Can't wait to start doing some more stuff with you guys. |

What makes a corp great? Number of kills? Number of people in it? The amount of isk you make? Or it is great cohesion when people do anything together, have a laugh and ready to help? I would choose the last one :)
RED C is a great social group in EVE! It always feels right being online with this bunch whatever you do- pvp, incursions, missions or simply chatting on TS. If you are looking for home, where people are just like you - no one is better or worse but equal - than look no further!

I was reading the recruitment ad and I must say; This sounds epic. I recently joined DMNA roughly one month ago under the assumption I was getting into some awesome PvP, sov. warfare and all kinds of PvP goodness... only to find carriers and supers ratting/anoms. We did the occasional SBU destruction and TCU destruction, but there was no roaming... and the leadership is too busy playing League of Legends while the White Noise space burns down around them.
I have been in many corps, yes. My character was born in 2005, and as eve changed so did my needs. Many corps folded or moved into a direction I was not willing to move in. I was a long time resident of the original Northern Coalition (Morsus Mihi, Razor, Mostly Harmless etc...). Once that part of my eve life was destroyed, I had little to move on to. I tried my hand at pirating and I did nothing noteworthy except kill my security rating, which I am currently working on raising. My most recent corp movements are a direct result of poor leadership, lack of membership attendance or just an overall failure of the corporation to provide what they promised me upon signing up. I always brought the requirements and was an active member. So I voided the contracts and quit so to speak.
Here I sit, in the same boat as usual. Then I read this interesting recruitment post from Red Core. Let me tell you a little about Selande, so I can hopefully entice you to a conversation this evening...
Skillpoints: 93M
Specialty: Fleet Command Lvl 4, Command Ship (Damnation, Vulture and Claymore) pilot (With T2 links + Cybernetic 5). Maximum offensive skilled Revelation pilot (Capital Turrets Lvl 5 with proper JJ CAL) and lastly... subcap skills in all four races to include Logistics Lvl 5 (Guardian) in the form of PvP and T3's (Loki + Legion).
I have many years of PvP experience with a broad background in sov. warfare and small gang warfare from my low-sec career moves. I would love to discuss the option of becoming a member of your corporation. I can also provide FULL 100% all-boxes-ticked API key. I have a high sec character (2005, non-alt) for missions and Incursions. I can show that info too.

I was on last night to chat with these guys. I missed the US TZ recruiter by a couple minutes, but I had a nice chat with one of thier members who was very informative (Rasquel). Thier public channel was actually populated, unlike some other corporations. It doesn't leave a warm fuzzy when you pop on at your primetime and nobody is on in the prospective corporation.
These guys seem "win."

We've reached our first milestone and we've begun our move into Low Sec. We are in the process of moving to our new home, meeting neighbors who don't like us and killing them! We've met new friends, new enemies and generally having a fun and exciting time out here!
