Since there's too much server issues for me during this week, I think it'd be nice from CCP to give a little compensation to the players. Some are losing skill training time, others cannot complete missions, etc...
An idea for that would be timecodes, which duration would depend on the downtime, sent by evemail to players for long time/repeated server issues.
Just my 2c...

I agree. I've now had 3 days where I have been unable to have a solid night of gaming on Eve. Thats 10% of this months subscription cost down the drain.
Also, I think they need to stop flogging a dead horse and take Eve down for a lengthy period to get the problems resolved once and for all. Trying to keep this paralysed system up for a few hours at a time between crashes is pointless and is just making folks mad. Take it down for however long is needed to get it stable and be done with it.
The official responses to this post (or lack of reponse) will determine wether I choose to continue my subscription next month. I await reply.

If I believed that a single person could effect change like that, I would be out of the door in a flash. But you and I both know that it will take a large group of people complaining to effect any real change in CCP, hence why I am here on the forums. ------------------------------

Edited by: Johnathon Desoto on 12/09/2007 18:08:34 I AM AMAZED... ah hem... I am amazed at just how many 'Thintelligent' people there are playing EVE, or actually in the world at large but lets not go there. EVE may be a buggy piece of the proverbial, but seriously think, just think! Is that a lightbulb coming on over or head, or a speck of dust. I'm not directly adressing Koemghen, just that sect of the player community. I will admit that I use EVE as a vent for my psychotic tendencies, and the fact that I had a nervous breakdown today seems to have alleviated the need, but lets get down to could hard facts: Based on the amount of time that EVE has averaged being down, a timecode or financial retribution wouldn't lead to very much. Unless your thinking of a multiplication factor on the compensation but lets not go there. I may sound pro EVE and pro CCP, but i think by the disparaging player community and CCP are at fault together. CCP could do with pulling their arses out of the flames, and the player community should JUST LEARN PATIENCE. Want a definition? OK... here goes... "Patience is the ability to endure waiting, delay, or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset, or to persevere calmly when faced with difficulties." Surely we aren't all addicts to MMORPG's, but i've found numerous free MMORPGS out there to play whilst EVE is down. I apologise to the original author of this thread for being disparaging and ranting in here BEFORE i've had my dose for this evening, but i think that if the player community were to support CCP a bit more, then they might more inclined to work a little harder for that extra little touch of symbiosis. Harmony... Peace.. and Tranquility (NO PUN INTENDED) and no, i'm not a hippee or a Liberal Democrat backbencher. Now CCP, not trying to sound condencending, but could you please sort this we issue out before I hack your servers, steal a few players addresses, and the police start a hunt for a serial killer? Thanks

I seem to remember them actually giving compensation for time lost a few years ago... and stability wasn't nearly as bad as it's been of late. Would like to see this too.

Forgive me for saying, but I support CCP enough with ú10 a month of my hard earned money... what greater incentive could there be to do a better job? ------------------------------
