The ship sells for the profit I stated in the original post. To achieve the volume though you just have to spread sales between a few regions.
And with Morphite possibly regaining it's value soon, and the Skiff possibly getting a boost due to the compression nerf, this may just well be a very good buy.

I must admit this is a bit of a gamble on my part, however if the morphite required for a T2 battleship vs. a cruiser sized T2 ship is the same ratio as the increase in Megacyte between a cruise and a BS, then I see skiffs taking a nice healthy jump. Even if they go up only 5 mil in price, that's a 50% increase in profitability.
Skiffs getting a low end ore bonus when the compression nerf comes out would just be icing on the cake.

The 2nd Skiff BPO owned by the BMBE has been sold to Liv Dawn, the 2nd highest bidder in the auction, for 7.4b. And it looks like it's found a good home there.

Indeed, received the other blueprint today, since Ray made me the offer as second regular bidder despite knowing that there was another bidder at 7.6.
The trade was very uncomplicated and we had a friendly chat. I d buy again from him if he has something nice like that to sell.
