Hello everyone!
I hope its ok to post stuff like this in here, otherwhise let me know and I can remove it and post it in the right place. I have been working on two new eve sites, one where you can upload and watch videos and one to store nice helping programs that you have made.
After a discussion in a different topic of which programs are legal I got a clear view of what I can host and what I cant. Will not host anything that might be against the EULA.
Have you made any programs of you own? Then link it here if you want me to host it on my site. Or contact me ingame with details on how to get the file.
Have you made any eve-vidz? Then either go to my site and sign up and start uploading. If you dont want to sit and upload, give me your permision to do it and post a link to the file here or by eve-mail and I will upload them for you. If you want to you can include your login and password in that mail, then I can upload the files under your own profile. I have uploaded some test videos just to let you see how the site will look, if you are the owner to any of thoose videos and want me to remove them, please let me know.
Basically I need some help from all of you to make theese sites complete, I need helpful programs and eve online videos.

Both sites actually look really nice. And it would be great to have all the programs (or at least links), in one convinient website.
But mostly I like the Video site. I know there is "Eve-Videos" but I think it is a Chribba site. You should talk with him, it might be even nicer to merge the two sites, since yours looks much nicer.

I like both. Will be bookmarking and using them.
Talk to people like Gripen (creator of EFT) and the guys at EVEMon and QuickFit about posting their programs there. I would also open up the programs site to things like spreadsheets, as a lot of EVE work is done with very useful and well-made spreadsheet where a fully-featured program would take too long to pull together and do exactly what a similar spreadsheet does.
The videos site is a very good idea. Videos in the inline style, viewable on the webpage, is a great idea that would have made EVE-Videos more than a niche version of EVE-Files.

Bump, still looking for videos and programs, as I said If you dont want to upload the videos my self there are two options.
1. You give me the links to the videos and I upload the for you
2. You give me the links to the videos and eve-mail me your username and password on eve-vidz.com and I will upload them under your name so they are under your profile.
The programs dont need to be any complicated ones, just simple ones that might help the eve player out.

Still looking for programs and videos. Register and upload your videos or look at my other offers a few posts up on this page.
I am also looking for player created guides that I can put on the website. If you wrote I guide and are willing to share contact me.

Oh thanks for the tip, maybe a admin will move it?
Just realised that .WMV files are converted into poor quality, I am currently looking into that issue.
All other works great thou, xvid, divx, avi, mpeg, FLV, and so on.

For some reason the converter has problems converting small compressed .WMV files. Bigger and not so compressed ones works just fine, so dont compress it to hard before uploading, the uploading limit is at 400mb so no need to compress that much.
*edit: If you have your videos on youtube, you can download them to your computer by adding "kiss" in the url to the video. For example if this is the url to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jOJR5Xauf0 add "kiss" to download it and it will look like this: http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=3jOJR5Xauf0 Save as FLV (flash video) and upload that to eve-vidz.com. For more stability only use 0-9 and a-z in file names.
*edit: the small compressed .WMV files will still work, its just that they look awful.
