I've played online games for seven years now. I've known many people in my time in online gaming, and I have to say that the majority of people I've spent time with have been great fun and some good friends. While I have known others more, for longer and got closer than I did with DarkElf, I can safely say that I'm not sure I knew any with as good a character. He always stood up for what he believed in, was considerate, helpful, friendly and always looked on the bright side of things, when others (myself included) could not. This is why we pay such a considered tribute to him.
This video is a fitting tribute and says all that I and everyone else in Veto feels.
Rest well Paul, I hope that we get a chance to meet again after this life has left us all behind.

I didn't know DE personally and I think I only met him a couple of times in game, but I want to pay respect to him, his family and all his friends by posting a few words. Words that maybe can give some strength and comfort in this moment of mourning.

This video was passed thru my corp and was talked about, it touched many of us. It is one of the most touching things I have ever seen. It brought tears to my eyes. Losses like this make you realize its more then a game.

I never got to fly with DE, but the banter in the chat channels and forums gave us a good showing of what a great guy DE was. Veto will heal together, but DE will never be forgotton and will always be among our gangs in spirit.

Though his personality touched many of us, and his spirit remains with us, he was still like a stranger to me, yet as my brother.
