To keep it short and to the point.
Is it correct that warp jaming has been removed from NPCs?
What are the ships and weapon types used mainly in pvp combat at this point?
And which are the major fractions/corps and who are they fighting?
As well as that recommendations for web-databases for calculating missile flight times, range modifiers and such would be appriciated.

No, NPCs can still scramble you. Makes life interesting.
What ships are being used? I can't think of many that aren't, really.
Who's fighting who? This is your best place to start.

Gigantic war currently going on between the Band of Brothers + friends vs. Goonswarm + Red Alliance + friends that has engulfed the majority of 0.0 space for the past six months or more.

I've been using EVE Fitting Tool, myself. I like it a hell of a lot better than Quickfit.
