Edited by: Hunter killer on 13/02/2004 20:09:25 Well one day the Empire police will get their act together, untill that time keep away from Hagilur(0.3) in Metropolis as there has been 26 pod kills today. |

police only get involved in 0.5+
--------------------------------------- Last nights patch, was, without doubt, the worst ever. Rest assured that I was on the forum within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world. |

I did not mean "any time soon". Its something people are questioning in other threads - Can it be called empire space if the empire does not provide "some" level of protection.

M0O have been there the last couple of days targeting people from 65 70km away. It's possible that they got a couple of frigates and cruisers.
Actually alot of CA there in general, for the last seve3ral days that i've seen.

Empire, low-sec space usually is the most dangerous area; or rather, a particular system within that. Used to be Sarum Prime, then Aurohunen.
Any given area of 0.0 space, unless there's a major battle taking place in it on that day, has limited traffic through it, therefore, little appeal to people who *want to fight*. It might actually be better for people who *want to get rich through piracy* - one or two indys full of arkonor is way better than 387 newbie frigates each carrying 1 trit and a basic miner. But sitting in one place for 8 hours waiting for those two indys to come past, is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOring.

Yeah, tell me about it!!
Why I was attacked, I know not, but my Iteron was carrying a shuttle, and 480 omber, so they gained nothing from me!

you should have jettisoned the shuttle so after they blew up your ship you could board it and take off, that wouldv'e been funny.

Tank CEO has/is in the area at the moment, along with Gian Bal also from m0o.
Recently Hagilur has been camped by forces from "Special Patrol Group (SPG)" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (4D)".
No sign of "the republics protectors" Oracle or PFOM helping to clear these out at all....

Wouldn't that put the shuttle in a cargo can?
Never tried it.

Oh well, there goes the area. I guess its a good location as links a number of areas that are not serviced by the highway system, but most players attacked can only be doing basic mining and missions.

I'm one of the pilots who had a ship destroyed there today and it didn't make a lot of sense to me as I was in a shuttle with nothing aboard.
Probably why they podded me. :)
The clone job wasn't botched so I got the free ride back to crielere.
Just another day in the world of EVE.

Actually Baldour when you jettison a ship it is not in a can and it's boardable, however you can't scoop it back into the cargo.

It's pointless to gank in imperial space. Sure you can get everything upto battleships with sheer firepower, but hardly any battleships.
Keep on flaming, lamers.

We are not and have never been the Republics Protectors. We fight to end slavery, to free those who are not free. It is not our aim nor goal to fight to protect those who are already free and should but generally do not, fight alongside us. We will, when we can, help our brethren but our job is not to police Republic space. In fact for our work the Republic has outcast us and as such many of our pilots, myself included cannot even enter most systems.
Ok, so what the hell is this Golden Ratio? |

If you're looking for a reason why they blow you up, it is to blow you up
Shuttles can be boarded after being jettisoned

Very interesting, Viqer.
Given that you do not enter Minmatar space, and do not protect the people of Minmatar space, does this mean that the only accurate part of the corp's name is "Front"?
Well, you sure do have a lot of it sometimes.

When I was caught in a blockade some days ago, that was at pashanai, an otherwise calm system, but .4. It's a pass-through system, 8 months playing eve never had any problems there.
But someday it had to happen. As I said before, stupid me: there was a HUGE red ball in that system: 45 ships destroyed, 32 pods.
Hat's off to the blockaders tho. That's what I really call a blockade, not even an interceptor would run out of it hehe By the time I was completely imobilized, there were 5 scorpions near my apoc, 3 of them bouncing to keep it from aligning. Really good job. _______________________________________________
