The item to be auctioned is a Wyvern class mothership
Start price and reserve: 27 billion ISK
Minimum bid increment: 250 million ISK
Buyout option: 33 billion ISK
Auction end date: Tuesday, the 18th of september 2007 at 21:00 Eve Time
Sniper time of 15 minutes.
The ship will be supplied with 20 fighters, fuel, and a fitting of the auction winners choice.
(standard capital equipment and T2 items only)
Additional information:
The final deal will happen in the following fashion. Upon inspection of the MS the customer pays the full amount in advance. Following that he is handed over the mothership.
The location will have to be agreed upon with the customer.

Alt forum bids will be ignored. Due to the kind of sale i might consider anonymous ingame offers. However i will only deal with reputable main characters.
I reserve the right to turn down offers or to end the auction prematurely.

If it is no scam, why not an in-game trade? You just want people to "give" you 27 billion, yet there is absolutely no reason to not use ingame tools to securely conduct the transaction.
It makes no sense.

When you've figured out how to use the trade window to exchange a ship which can't dock, they can do it your way.

LoL and what in-game tools are you refering too? Can't dock a Mom so you can throw it up on the market or contracts.
The only way is for the 2 people to meet in the selected system and the seller to jump out of the Mom and the buyer to get in. You can see why selling a Mom is a big thing on trust.. seems alot of people use that Cribba guy as a third party.
Anyways good luck on the sell.. i'd buy it if i had the isk but settle for my carrier for now :(

Yes, as the two gentlemen above explained there is sadly no ingame mechanic for a Mothership trade. Its only possible via trust. As buyer you have to trust the selling party with your ISK up front, or both agree to a trusted third party who caretakes the ISK during the trade.
That said, another happy customer just boarded his shiney new Wyvern.
Sale was concluded ingame. Thanks to all interested parties.

Trust in this case (the store) is nothing i wouldnt trust when its about Sales. These guys are doing this business since i began playing eve i think.
I would trust them in any way.
