I am interested to sell this collectors item for isk and therefore i wanted to ask if and where i am allowed to post an auction for it.
Item is a Hurricane made out of matches.

I know CCP usually don't allow RL items or money to be used to buy ingame items or isk but since my work is strictly related to EVE-Online i hope they can make an exception. Precious ratting-time was spend on building this and i prefer to spend my free time building ships out of matches then sitting alone in a belt :)

I find the idea of a minmitar ship bursting into flame "Because it's made out of scraps & matches" rather ironic. Not worth buying, but cool idea ^^.

Nice work. I can't wait to see the response from CCP. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be allowed to sell it for ISK but you know it's better to ask first :)

Unfortunately we do not allow auctions for real world items and especially not for real world money.
Ebay might be a good option for you?

Kinda the reverse to me saying "i'll sell this ISK to you for a Hurricane built out of matches"

Put a REAL hurricane in contracts with a side note stating that the winner will also receive a matchstick hurricane.
Announce it here with the name/location/etc of the contract. Job done! Just don't do it in Jita!!!!

Buy the GTCs, trade them, sell the GTCs for isk.

Buying a 30 day card means buying 30 days of CCP's service, it's not a real world item just because you can print the key information on paper.

Grey area. The concept and copyright behind it belongs to CCP.
How about a private 1v1 tournament with T1 fitted Tier2 BC's only? Winner gets the model. That offers the chance for some PVP as well.

how real is a hurricane? :) it's an ingame item brought out of the monitor ... it's like buying a hurricane ingame and getting it out of your pc :P ... it's of no use in RL anyway, it's just a collectors item useful for eve-fans only and not able to generate any RL profit. Same as eve characters.
Just appreciate this mans dedication to the game you've created and allow him to continue his career while also making publicity to EVE-Online in a very original way.

Would CCP be lenient and allow him to post a link to an ebay-auction for the item here? It's eve related and isn't selling an out-of-game item for isk but I know that links to ebay don't go down well with the mods. This is one of those cases where the rule should be bent a little, in my opinion.

You allow hosting, killboards, TS and other services to be sold for isk as well. I don't think physical eve related works are unreasonable. Its not like he's selling diamonds for isk to launder.
Plus if he is selling eve IP on ebay for cash does CCP condone this sort of thing? I'd like to make some resin models of ships to sell.
