Ok, this is stupid, iv got a problem with eve, like many of the players out there, IM STILL STUCK ON THE BLACK SCREEN AFTER SPLASH.
Iv tryed everything i can find on forums to fix it, and got a auto reply from ccp.
Im loseing out on skill traineing, and spending real money on more than 1 account i carnt get to.
Help me.

There are like 23k players playing
Got same problem man.. however i tried to login over and over again and i managed once to get in maybe u want to do so too atleast change ur skilltraining to longtime..
As for the problem i tried it all but it doesnt apear to be on my side
Idd say be patient and try to set ur skilltraining hehe givem some time lol maybe a week?
I mean they dont do it intentionally =)
Anyways good to see its not just ME :)

Yep I have two accounts and my primary account is stuck attempting to load Jita and has been finished training for an hour or so now and I have no way of getting back into the game to get the **** out of Jita or at least change my training to something, getting kinda ridiculous.

ok dnt wanna sound rude, but plz keep to topic, i carnt even get to the login screen, Black screen after splash. and im more than a few hours out of skilltraining, and btw, jia is allways like, price u pay for playing in that system.

I'm having the same problem on a clean XP SP2 install. Only things I have done are install .Net 2.0, eve build 36800, ATI drivers for a 9550, and AVG anti-virus. Tried everything thats in the sticky: adding the missing font to windows/fonts, /end /LUA:OFF tag, nothing still black screen after splash.

so many lag threads.
solution to stuck-in-jita-blues: get onto an alt character on your stuck account and petition under "stuck" for the stuck character. ccp will usually lift you one jump out in short order.

What does this thread have to do with Jita and lag? I think its about those of us that can't even get to a login screen much less any further.
Train reading comprehension up another level and try again.

ok, with the going off topic. this isent lag, or jita. im unable to log in to the game after the minma BC screen, aka splash.
I know ppl have this problem to, but stead of telling me u have the problem to, plz can we get a fix.
i dnt want this post turned into anouther moan fest.

I have got Eve up and running, first by trying everything in this thread. When none of that worked I eventually found this Knowledge Base article and added the audio=0 to the prefs.ini file in the cache folder. It seams that since I have NO sound card at all Eve will not run unless sound is disabled before trying to launch the client. Seams kinda bass ackwards if you ask me but as far a I understand it Eve's sound has been borked since...well since they coded it 7 some odd years ago.
Hope this helps get you back in game.

Im happy u are bk in, but iv ot played with sound for allmost 3years, so its allrdy disabled, tryed setting to 1, then bk to 0. but no joy.
