Things in eve are rarely black and white are they, although it would be easier for me if they were.
So why would you a Celestial pirate hunter JJ, suddenly be singing praises for the new Forsaken Empire corp, a corp made entirely of old pirates you spent the best part of last month trying to kill.
Let me enlighten you why,
There i am flying the new back way out of venal down into tribute, on my way back from trying to pick a fight with some Evo that never materialised.
When suddenly i find myself in a certain system clearly being mined by the FE, jackpot! some nice easy haulers to kill and maybe a BS rigged for mining (what can i say, im cheap)
Sat myself at a gate and shot at a bestower, megathron and an iteron. No kills (fortunately) they warped away and i then proceeded to have a most curious conversation with Havocide, which as amusing as it is i wont post with out his permission.
Even though i had continued to engage FE after he had asked me to stop, (hell i thought it was a joke) and they heavily out numbered me and they could have made my life very difficult, i was offered safe passage out of the system.
i still had my reservations, they could have easily ganked me if they wanted to, there was at least 10 of them in the system by now, but i thought lets give peace a chance, low and behold i flew out safely escorted.
This sort of curtesy in a misunderstanding is alot more than you would get from the majority of alliance corporations out there.
All this said i do hope the FE get bored of being a semi repectable alliance and go back to there Eviel  pirate ways soon or im going to be out of work and left shooting "wanna be's" in kestrels.
To anyone else planning tourist trips to Tribute with an ex-pirate tour guide i would recommend u think again, these people will kill u and u will moan.

Let me enlight you Jet. Since you're an 'bounty hunter', you must lie to get pks, like CELES, EVE Marshals and CoC. In light of this, you have no credibilty and there fore, stop making posts.

Violence breeds more violence. FE took the sensible option not to let things escalate thus they can mine happiliy and get a bit more respect from those who they wouldn't expect it from.

I went through that area today and an FE patrol tried to kill me....
for some reason they didn't maage in thier cruisers while I was in a merlin
and then I went through the minning system and and they didn't kill me again...they don
t seem a whole lot nice to me...and i had no clue who FE was cuz i have just returned from my eve vacation of about 7 months since eve post-release was kind of a let down...I thought they were one big joke....anyway pirate life is hard when no one likes you (old xtinction pegleg)so I can understand the new image ...

Anyway good luck with your new direction, very brave decision for FE. Any offical statement on corps that still have the "forsaken-empire" member on corp description but arent part of the new FE corporation? Are they in or out?
It would have been difficult to get a bunch of blood thristy bounty-hunters to escort an ex-pirate out, if the situation had of been reversed. While I hate to lose 50% of our targets, we cannot ignore this act of good faith. Good luck FE
