Edited by: exxorr on 17/09/2007 11:17:43 I have bought one and fitted it with the industrial core etc.
But I cannot figure out how to load the compression bays.
I there a thread somewhere that explains this or is it bugged?
Or perhaps I am missing a module and skill somewhere?
Thanks for your time.

I belive it have to be similar to production, so, click right mouse button on the compression BPO, on menu find something like compress, compression, manufacturing.

You were right, You have to have the bpo in the cargo hold with the ore, select it and run manufacturing. For station choose my ship. Make sure the industrial core is running long enough or it will offline your job and I still can't figure out how to online it again as it doesn't automatically online when you start the core again.

The Rork is intended as a direct money->scrap conversion system to try and reduce inflation on the server.
If you buy one, spend billions outfitting it, and then lose it in combat an hour later, then it's working properly. -------------------------------------------------- FRIGATS Coalition FREGE-Red-IAC-Goon-AAA-Tau-Southerncross

Does Anyone have anything constructive to add or is this guy buggered. Ten thousand experts in eve and obnly one positive response?
Seems to me that the ship is ****ed. You can only compress a small about at at time, they shortened the industrial mods cycle time by 50 percent therefore it takes 2x as much time to compress the ore as it would have. I found that it takes more isk to compress the ore then you save by having it compressed.
This ship has been nerfed to hades relagating it to being a decent hauler. 2x iteron 5s rigged and expanded = 76500m3 1x hulk rigged and expanded = 17ish000 m3 for a total of 93.5k m3 in the ships maintence bay plus 20 k cargo and 10 k corporate = much better then the carrier eve with the added cost of having to do a few more jumps to get to the same place.
CCP yet again you made an epic failure. It could be good but you need to significantly reduce the amount of heavy water that the industrial core uses. Say starting at 250 with level 1 and reduced to 50 with level 5 of the related skill, then it may be cost effective and therefore used,
Any thoughts?

Go and check the price of heavy water. Work out how much ore you can compress in your 5 minute window. Come back and edit your post. At 47s a compression cycle, with 2 cycles running concurrently, you will easily cover the 40k or so it costs the compress the ore.

wow, only 40k isk per cycle to compress ore. This makes it nearly completely a waste of time.
unless you can tell me how to fill the assembly arays to the 640k m3 space that I read they will hold.
thanks

It doesn't work that way, if anything, it will add money to the system (insurance pay-out)...
