Edited by: Multras on 18/09/2007 10:11:58 Wow nice job showing a video that starts halfway through the conflict . I imagine it went something like this: Kid started getting annoying and yelling etc. A normal college ****. The police ask him to calm down, he doesnt, the police ask him to leave, he continues being a ****. Now the SCHOOL CAMPUS POLICE have the right to remove him from THEIR premisis. they start to escort him and he turns to a bigger **** and wont comply, thus they rightfully taser him. I would clap too.
Im sorry but if the people who own/guard the building ask you to leave, you leave unless you want problems as what happend here.

People do care, but I don't think I should just post for the sake of /signed.
Personally I care more about a country I shall not name which had a leader whose initials were S and H. According to reliable sources more than 650'000 people have died in that country of 28 million between 2003 and 2006. I think I care much more about that than 9/11. People don't put things into perspective, sadly.

What would you rather see anyways ? What kind of changes would you expect make all these bad things ago away ?(also those things you get worked up about in other threads)
Massive petitions to change the system?, revolution, evolution, passive peace marches, hanging the guilty, what ?
And in the end would those things be the better and less harmfull options ?

I dont think there is anything we can do. I would just like to see people care. Just once, it would be nice to see that people care about something else than themselfs.
But its too much to ask isnt it? You guys who shrug this off will also get the society you deserve in the end, so fine, but I just cant help getting upset by seeing things like this.
Oh well, just wanted to show this. I dont know why I keep posting these things when so few people care. I just felt this was kind of special, but I guess nothing upsets people anymore.

We have indicents in the UK like this from time to time as well to be honest, although in most cases they're never severe enough to be mentioned in the press with everything else that's going on.
It's a disgrace.
I'm not one to support the "OMG I'll sue you!" culture, but if I was in that guy's shoes, I'd be talking to a lawyer about police brutality and excessive use of force.
He was somewhat irate, but he was fully restrained by no less than six officers. He repeatedly asked not to be tazed while lying face down from what I could tell, and being fully subdued. Still they did it.
No call for it tbh, bang out of order.

This video starts half way through the actually event that took place. He actually ran through a check point that cops were gaurding and with 5 cops on him he was screaming for kerry to answer his question.
kerry accepted, he then asked a question about voter machine fraud, and then this is were the video starts. You can tell its not even a complete video because there talking about a question that wasnt even addressed in the video.
I would of tasered when he ran past me, what if he was trying to kill kerry?

Regardless of wether or not it only showed half the video or whatever, they didn't taser him until AFTER they had him restrained by half a dozen police offices and he was lying face flat on the floor. At that point, there was no need to use a taser.

Can't see streaming media in work but is this the one that caused sucha stir a few months back where a kid with a big mouth decided to try and be smart when campus police asked him for ID? He then mouthed off, refused to leave and got tazered for his lack of manners.
I didn't see anything wrong with that particular clip other than the campus police didn't take out batons and beat the little **** around the head a bit.
Not sure if the one you have posted is the same tho.

Edited by: Darwinia on 18/09/2007 12:30:59 When the police (or security) tries to escort you out, you don't struggle and complain, you go quietly and resolve the situation later.
Security are not there to discuss with you, they are there to maintain the peace and if you don't do as they say, you'll get hurt. It's what they are trained and paid for.
You can argue all you want about freedom of speech and such, but not with security ------------------------ I don't believe in sigs. |

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,297126,00.html
I hear Fox news is not all that accurate, would that be right?
Is this the story referred to?
"He apparently asked several questions ù he went on for quite awhile ù then he was asked to stop," university spokesman Steve Orlando said. "He had used his allotted time. His microphone was cut off then he became upset."
I think the security people/police were right to move him out in the first place, because he was being selfish and stopping anyone else from asking questions. He wasn't allowing Mr. Kerry to answer the questions he did ask, so what was the point of asking them?
The police might have been overly heavy handed, but if he is continuing to shout and stuff, then it's just further disruption, and if tasering him gets him to be quiet, allowing other people to make their points, then maybe it's justified to an extent.
Not that political meetings are much good anyway, as generally only two types of people turn up. Enthusiastic supporters who would applaud anything, and bitter opponents with long pre-prepared tirades of arguments.
