Strike them to a great distance in an industrial class ship fitted with nanofiber internal modules in the lowslots and then abscond with the fruits of their mining endeavor (only in the case where they have jettisoned said ore into a temporary container in space). Tee hee hee.

I set up an Omen one time and did just this kind of thing. I knocked one of the barges in this mining op about 100km from the roids. Local chat got very heated. It was entertaining for a while, but they didn't want to fight back, so I finally quit messing with them.

yeah you could do it in a hauler but when I go out to bump people I do it in a stabber fleet issue.  I like to push miners 20 to 30 km out of a belt just to mess with them.

hey
a friend of mine managed to fit a 100mn mwd on a thorax he bumped a hulk 60km off his can and moved ore into a can he put out :P
he then docked changed ship undocked went to the belt and guess what the hulk took his ore back and was nice flashy red :P
bye bye hulk.

I nano fit my Rokh with a Micro warp drive...it bounces the miners far enough that there turrets turn off and if you line up right you can get wicked bumps on 3 or 4 of them...
Steal there ore...don't steal there ore... eiher way its wicked fun..

What else is fun is when you find 2 ships who are at war with each other and one ship is trying to get back to the gate to jump. Bump the escapee and grab some popcorn and wait for the pretty explosion. I then looted the popped ship before his aggressor could.
