just watched the vid and the killmail.
Why oh why was he using named blasters?
you can afford to splash out on faction tank but not faction guns or even tech 2?
Major loss for ya mate unlucky - get back on the bandwagon and kill some peeps  .

whats with the whole omg theres a faction bs lets go gank it thing lately  i just think its a shame that such a great ship should be ganked no matter if the pilot was careful or not when using it, now what i want to see is you solo it, now that would be awesome

We probably had a good 40 minutes of discussion on this, I don't rememebr the reasoning, but after a bunch of numbers thrown about he decided the faction guns weren't worth tracking down and getting at a decent price. Oh, and uhh.. he can't use T2 /shrugs. He's not too torn up about it, so whatever. Still should have listened to me when I told him to dock, I think my exact words were "m8's in local, blob incoming."

You guys ganked him and instead of sending in 1 BS to 1v1 him, and then post about it on the forums? Well worth a thread!

And do you think he would have had any qualms about bringing a group of his friends to gank some other poor bastard in the same ship and then could've resisted massaging his epeen in this forum?

For the record... I play this game for 4 years now. Solo pvp is alot harder to find these days as it was in the old days ( 1500 players on server ). If people would engage me 1vs1, I think I would come out very well most of the time. Unfortunately Eve has changed...more players...etc. And afterall it's all about teamwork and working together with others.
Today, most people get downed by multiple... get a grip and live with it.
Posting about this kill... yes In my opinion, this is a unique kill in value that you don't encounter every day. It's allways nice to let the community know that such a ship has been downed and definately if it was owned by pirates! Who for the record don't do anything else, then killing innocent players in this game passing by in low security systems.
We've been doing anti-piracy for a pretty long time now and to be honest... most pirates aren't in it for pvp. Aren't doing it for the great fights, but more for the gank! Max profit and no losses, Alot of pirates don't even go into equal number fights, so let's not discuss about fighting outnumbered. Which ofcourse is their profile and the roleplaying they like.
Though I'm the first to admit, that from the engagements we've had with BEETS were very fun and they uptill now have allways given us a fight when the opportunity was there.
M'8'S Corporation lives by a code and wether friend or hostile, we keep respect high in vain for everyone who earns it. And BEETS, let's have more fun engagments in the future...
For lassie....your comments are.....pffff....go focus on veldspar roids. And please next time when you are pvp'ing with corp, and you have for example a group of 5 and a faction ship next door, tell your friends to go in 1 by 1 and let him go back to refill his boosters etc. before the second one tries ok???!!!!??? hehehehe.

You fail because instead of refusing to adapt, you're taking the easy way out, thus becoming and contributing to the problem, hence you're not respected as a PVPer.

Yes thats exactly what you should've done. If you had gone in a BS and challanged him to single combat and won a glorious victory, this would've become a good thread. Instead its yet another "look we ganked a dude, we won teh lootz lol!"-thread.
Im gonna stop typing now as im typing in a forum section that belongs to ppl with your mindset, thus a waste of time, therefore my reply is useless and im actually ******** for even answering, bye
