Just posting to say it's not a nerf. It's going to have the same tank as a regular BC and shoot farther than all of them with switchable damage types. I can see people just fitting a sebo and sitting at 100km doing 600 DPS in it. It also makes HAM fits viable for zero zero which is quite cool |

Drake: 0/500 * 300/550 = 0.035
Hurricane: 951/0 * 120/550 = 0.021

It's bringing it back into line with the other BCs, that's good enough for me.

But if the care bears keep crying it will probly lose a mid slot and keep its resist or some thing lame like that. |

Somewhat good for the weirdos that wanted a Drake for DPS. Because we apparently need more gank BCs, more HAMs platforms (the other ones are such a success after all), more gimmick range bonii, and more tears from carebears like me. (Even though I do not even own a drake anymore). |

Why do ppl call it nerf when actually its a buff... it was overtanked ship to begin with. Yes I agree - it was nice that I could visit some random L3 WH in it when I was still a 2 mth old newb, but face it - do you really want a ship which tanks 1000 omni DPS while dishing out 100 DPS of its own????
It was great in kin weak areas - live with it in em weak area and it sucks hairy balls.
Plus -> more range on it means it will be able to distance tank anything :) Looking forward to this buff, do it soon... and Im back into drake again :)

Proposed changes will be a buff, from a 25% bonus to KINETIC damage to 25% bonus to ROF, wich makes is a 33% bonus to DPS in ALL damage types. And bonus to range, hmm, HAM drake. Anyway, it would be even better for ratting, who cares about 25% less EHP. |

High resists = better passive tank. This change massively nerfs the Drake's ability to just absorb hundreds of DPS and instead have to rely more on conventional buffer. Since buffer tank is more of a PvP thing, this is a refocusing of the Drake into more PvP rather than being an "I Win at Tanking" button in PvE (a battlecruiser running lvl 4 missions shouldn't happen ever). |

600 dps at 100km loolz , im sure you havent used missiles in pvp yet , go try out maybe you will learn something usefull
also hurricane dmg bonus will be changed to -5% speed/lvl |
