Elajoy	Posted - 2007.09.19 11:58:00 - [1] Hi - I am a player of mature years based in the UK, looking to do new things, having spent most of my time doing Level 4 missions, trading, producing in Empire or ratting in Syndicate. I don't have much interest in PvP, but will fight to defend. I have all round skills, with Production Efficiency 5 and quite a few Science skills. Mining also isn't really my thing - my only mining vessel is a Megathron! I own and can fly HACs, Command Ships, Recon Ships, Covert Ops and Logistics Ships but have spent little time in any of these. Most of my flying time has been spent in a tanked Dominix for missions. I would like to use these ships more. I am looking for an active Corp with POS and lab access that uses its own forums/website. Access to 0.0 and beng part of an Alliance would be an advantage. Willing to use Ventrilo or Teamspeak, but I do work for a living and have a bit of a social life, so can't be on 23/7!!

Qualifications & Requirements: - Character at least 15 days old. while we would like to keep all of our members over 15 days old, we do make acceptations, you may for example be an experienced EVE player and have started a new character, or your might show such enthusiasm as a new player that we'll consider taking you on. We appreciate members cant always be on every night or if they are nor for very long, we all have real lives to live and we donÆt expect anyone commit an insane amount of hours. We are a mature corp/alliance with the average age being mid 30's (though of course we do have some younger and some more mature pilots). We are a 0.0 based corp that runs out of the northern regions of 0.0. We are mostly UK/EU but also have a strong US base so we maintain a precense pretty much 23/7. The corp it self has been going abuot 18 months and we have been living in 0.0 for the majority of that time. As a rule we have very few rules, we allow our members to do as they please as long as they socialise and have fun whilst they are online. Obviously region defence takes presedence over ratting or mining but otherwise youd be free to do as you please. We also understand that real life comes first so do not ask you are online every other day or some such demand. As far as POS's go we have a few defence POS's up in 0.0 and an Empire POS with a full rack of labs that we rent at the lowest possible cost we can. We have more or less finished researching all our BPO's so there are many places available should you wish to take advantage of them. I myself have a girlfriend and a college-life, therefore study alot and know that noone can be online 23/7 at all times ;) We have players with wife and children, people in college, shift-workers... so we understand if you cannot be on 23/7. Our main playerbase is EU timezone, yet we have people scattered across the globe. Our corporation is about half a year old, started recruiting end of april when we had all the important matters to run a corp seriously sorted and have now a playerbase of about 50 people. Counting alts, we got about 40 players, where 20 are very active and 10 show regular playtimes (All calculations roughly over the thumb :P) We're still recruiting and growing and became a decent corp from my point of view :) Looking into my past corp and past 3 alliances, I must admit, I was positively surprised by our members in this corp, I never expected as much. My standards used to be low, but our members prove quite frequently that they are very capable, can take care of themselves, play together, get gangs going daily (used to be mainly pve, now with increasing pvp activity). The group activities and planned ops are increasing constantly. We have a fair understanding of game mechanics and widely spread experiences. I myself have experienced almost any aspects of the game, except for capital ships (which I'm training for currently). I run 3 accounts and each one is dedicated to another field of gameplay, so I know what I'm talking about :P We've got fresh players, as well as high-skilled players in the corp. Gangs go up frequently and contain cheap-**** pvp as well as serious group pvp in recon squads for example. The teamwork and willingness to fly in groups is high, and therefore the corp spirit quite strong. Well, not me. I'm in a corp with 100-odd members at last count, with bases of operations in Empire and 0.0, part of an alliance that controls an area of 0.0 in fact (check the map), and engaging in industry, invention, exploration, pvp, missions...probably other things to but my current hangover is making things a bit hazy unfortunately. We do everything anyway, and are on the lookout for normal people, of which you seem to be one. Contact me or Chrosis (or Jelan, the boss, though he's on holiday at the minute), or join the channel Fusionpublicchat and holler. We're very friendly, though we do have a member called Gralg Merglen who swears and says 'your mum' a lot, though he can be blocked easily enough. Having said that he is the security director. We started as an industrial corporation and still have a focus there, but have expanded into 0.0. Our growth has been into the Providence area where we have a constellation of systems to settle. Already we have a well established POS network in place. We are also executor of the Paxton Federation Alliance and have plenty of other allies in the region. We still maintain a solid industry in lowsec and highsec as that is the backbone to Paxton. We have many dedicated miners and manufacturers but also many members that pursue 0.0 ratting, PvP, exploration and mission running. You can surely find players to discuss all the best ways to do any of these activies with Paxton. Our membership spans the NA, UK and Euro timezones. We are solid in all but have a slightly higher membership in the UK/Euro timezone. We are a relaxed corporation and put no demands on play time. We also have no mandatory operations. At times we have to defend our space and we like members to help, but if RL call we understand, as a main philosophy of Paxton is that RL is great than EVE. A varying schedule or taking time off from the game is never held against out members. We do allow folks after a trial period to use the POS for personal or corp use. (Personal use you have to pay a small fee similar to the NPC stations, failure to pay fees will result in loss of privileges). We are mostly in Metropolis right now. Our alliance is negotiating for some 0.0 space and hopes to have that concluded within the next month. We cannot offer employment though if you have done missions for Ammatar Consulate (unless you also have at least an 8.0 or higher standing with them).
