Edited by: Aprox on 19/09/2007 12:58:07 Edited by: Aprox on 19/09/2007 12:53:12 I am returning after over a year. I have 3 characters in various places.
1. How can I do the whole newbie tutorial again? 2. If I have to delete a char then how do I transfer ISK between them first? 3. Which one should I delete? I assume the one with the least skill points. 4. Is there a way to skip the 10 hour wait when deleting a char?
Thanks

1. I think you can reset the tutorial under options 2. Find a character under people and places, right click->give isk 3. yep, would seem wise, or rather, the one with the worst potential, you may have a pilot nice for an alt, and someone more skilled you would be unlikely to ever log on again. 4. nope

Although you can start some of the tutorials over again, I am not sure you can get the full benifit of the tutorial experience, since I don't think you have access to the first and second agent on older accounts (you miss the heart of the tutorial--a 10 mission sequence tailored to your basic character type: solder, industrialist, trader).
If all you want to do is work the tutorials to see them, you can always start a new trial account and just not bother converting it to a regular account.
---
Now the bad news, as you may or may not recall, you can only train one character at a time on a single account. This means that you probably don't want to have 3 serious characters on the same account; you can do better training one character to do all three jobs with far less training time (lots of overlap in training and basic ship flying skills).
Most of us with multiple characters have them on separate accounts. This lets us train them in parallel and allows us to have several characters on line at the same time (handy for miners who have a second character up to move the ore to the station, as an example).

1. Yes, tutorial can be re-set. 2. You go to People and Places, find your other character on same account there, r-click on its name and choose the option that allows you to transfer ISK. 3. You should delete the other with poorer attribute distribution. Nothing people find more annoying down the road than the fact that they haven't picked optimal attributes and now will months/years of training cannot redo it. Having good attribute set also makes it easier to sell a character should you want to do so. To determine which char has got best attributes you can use EVEMon to compile a skill plan and see which one will train faster. This is assuming you don't have more than 2 month's worth difference in skill point training between the two. 4. Not that I am aware of.

Some of the starting station for new pilots have a 2 agenst instead of one. The second agent give a string of 10 missions taylored for tne character that spawn in that station, but the mission are accessible for any character of that race and any character of the other races that hasn't to bad standing. They are a great way to start mending you standing when you switch faction.
Those mission give some T1 frigate and +1 implants and some insight in the new features of EVE like invention (if you get struck there look the character Villard wheel bio).
A big advantage of the new characters is that you can start with some skill at 5, so it can be worth restarting them if you have low skill point or a bad skill distribuition.
