which Caldari ship is better in a 2/10 complex I can fly all T-1's and T-2 I was gonna go with a hawk because my missle skills are higher then guns although I could use either or is a hookbill better, my kestrel I have fitted T-2 missle launchers and it can hit more than 50 km out, would this do it, anyway I have never run a complex before and not sure if some crazy spawn is like a BS or something in the end. and...where the heck can I find 3/10 complex. thanks. |

Map stats will show 1/10 and up static DED sites. Good idea to try out 1/10 high sec site first just to get an idea on how they work. 2/10 and higher will give good rewards but those are usually camped. Exploration is about the only way to find 3/10 and higher DED sites.

EDIT:
The high security sites will rarely ever have Battleships in them and the largest hull class allowed into the larger gated sites is Battlecruiser. |

Tengu don't fit. I like the harpy best myself, but my missile skills are junk. Don't know what a well skilled hawk can do but my harpy pumps out about 200 dps with void and 170 with null. Have to be with about 8km for null and 5km for void, but that's fine since the frigate rats want to be that close anyways. |

Go for a hawk in the Guristas 2/10, it can pump out a lot of DPS for a static high-sec complex, as for 3/10's you have to scan them down

Up to 3/10 should be no problem in a decent skilled AF. As people said, 1/10 and 2/10 are static and shown on map, 3/10 you have to find with probes. |

Get a daredevil, I have no problems running DED3/4 with it and that's with Meta4 weapons.
Sure, it's minmatar/gallente, but it's sooo much faster than any caldari af and does sooo much more damage. Tank is enough, just don't try things like heading straight for the structure in the GSO. |

That was really long time ago, I started in Jan or Feb of 2007. and I think that was already changed. Now only 1/10 and 2/10 are static and show on global map; everything above that must be found trough exploration. |

DED 1 and 2 you are fine using an AF. I have used a worm in the past simply because I don't have caldari frig lvl 5 yet, but I have good missile skills. For DED 3 and 4 I prefer the Tengu, just my personal preference. Other ships work just as well. DED 3 and above do not show up on world maps and can only be found through exploration. |
