So I jumped on to the handy trade alt today to check out the old flipping for profit list of goods. one thing that raised an eyebrow was the single outstanding dyspro sell order, I know there is tech2 bpos on the horizon and people may be inclined to disrupt supply and/or hoard the good stuff. but in all honesty, wth would the entire supply of dyspro have evaporated over the past couple of days? just curious... there must be some cosmic dirt out there needing to be spilled on this product, gimmie the good stuff pls!

Posting threads that ask for everything and give nothing are worse than trolling. But that could be forgiven... but then you go and attack slurm. That brings you down to the level of trolling your own thread.
I see no reason to inform you of any information I may have on this topic... it would do nothing but hurt possible financial transactions I have.

Dysprosium is needed to produce Ferrogel & Fermionic Condensates. Both of these are needed to produce any of the 4 racial T2 reactor units. Every T2 ship contains a large number of these components, as well as a number of T2 modules. Dysprosium is one of the 4 rarest moon minerals, and the supply is fairly limited. This makes it a prime target for market manipulation.
Someone has noticed this and is holding the entire T2 ship industry to ransom 
The producers all the way along the chain don't really care because they can pass on the costs to their buyers.
Interesting facts:- A typical command ship contains a total of approximately 850 units of dysprosium, with a market value (at 16k per unit in Jita at the moment) of 13.6m isk.
- A dysprosium moon, fully harvested, is worth more than 1 billion isk per month at the current prices, even after paying the fuel costs
- Dysprosium has roughly quadrupled in price over the last 3 months

Working out the exact numbers involved is tedious and quite time-consuming if all you have to go on are various reactions and blueprints. The quickest way to do it is by matrix multiplication; here's an example:
