Neal Cassady Mutually Assured Distraction	Posted - 2007.09.21 08:47:00 - [1] This evening some of the [BEES] were cruising around Heimatar when we noticed a Caldari Navy Raven on scan in Amamake. We discovered the Raven to be missioning, with a hauler tagging along looting wrecks. Probes deployed, we pulled the raven and sent in our cloaked tackler. Unfortunately, a cloud de-cloaked our tackler and he was only able to nab the hauler. Patience won the day, however, as after 15 minutes the Raven decided it was safe enough to come back and finish his mission. The pilot, Neurosis, a member of Destructive Influence corp and Band of Brothers alliance, soon found himself facing four [BEES] who were tearing through his shields. Our FC opened convo and offered a ransom, he countered with an offer of 50 mil, which we decided was inadequate for a faction BS. We popped the Caldari Navy Raven, and Neurosis logged off. We soon probed his pod out and his corpse is now sitting in our hangar. We recovered approximately 2.3 bil in loot which should make for a nice payday for the four pilots involved. All in all it was a very profitable evening in Amamake. -Cassady

Its a big named ship from a big named Alliance in Amamake missioning of all places. Kinda off beam..but cool. I enjoyed the story. BoB is not quitting because of the war, with out the war there is no further purpose for them. After the war however I would think you see a lot of peeps from both sides turn in their pods.

Furthermore I told BoB about this on the forum and was instructed that their protocol consists of if a member does not post a killmail, then send the killmail to Blacklight and he will post it. I did just that and it wasn't posted. I'm SO sick and tired of hearing about the accuracy of the BoB killboard, its total bullcrap. No killboard is truly 100% accurate, of course in a big alliance theres bound to be problems there, but at least most alliances don't brag constantly about how perfect their killboard is. FZN FORUMS

Funny that, because awhile ago we were going to move to Evati, and when we jumped our carrier in, it was attacked by a mixed gang of Goonswarm and Molotov. Luckily, our carrier pilot was able to play with them a bit, before docking. Oh and I was there. So, indeed, there are some cases where these guys have flown together. -Karl PS... and the eve-mail stating that they were at heart something awful goons existed in my eve-mail box too. So its really hard for me to overcome both these incidents, which I was clearly present for both.

BEES have never cared for ratting or sec status and I can assure you that all in BEES would rather shoot GOONS that befriend them. Also, I have never heard any BEES member reference anything from SA. In fact, I believe that the Goonswarm/SA connection is all but dead now anyway. They're a good pirate outfit and a pirate looking for a new home could definitely do a lot worse. thanks for the kind words renn. we are certainly not affiliated with goons or sa forums at all. i have nothing against goons personally, and i certainly like seeing them in local. karl, i understand that cnr's get killed a lot. so do carriers, so do rifters. what made this kill special was that he wanted to pay 50 mil to save his ship (HA HA HA) and that he loggoffski'd even though it has been well documented that anyone pulling such a lame stunt will likely be probed out and podded. also the fact that i'm a pseudo forum ***** and was in on this kill made my epeen tickle at the prospect of a post. perhaps, if his implants were so important that he logged off, he should have waited until we nabbed his pod and then negotiated a deal to fly away in the egg. we're not gonna pop a cnr and then kill the pod without at least asking if the guy wants to buy his way out. we are professional pirates, and we've got hungry flippin mouths to feed.

First off, the faction ship kill was not that big a deal...it was the logoff ant his attempt to pay 50mil as a ransom for said ship...so we named and shamed..thats it. Next time engage and try kill me to post a screen of wreck, i'll be the first one to say good kill if you doit... you still fail at eve for mining in a cnr m8 if i fail at eve for sitting in a belt with a cnr with mining lasers why dont you come kill me and prove i fail for real? Btw can you even afford to risk cnr in a belt to see if the targets engage you ? Go run that little 2 man corp you are in and train some skill before post crap on the forums

I use my raven as i want, and if by seeing one screen of me ussing mining lasers in a cnr make you think i only use it to mine, then come join the guy that toke the screen and all the other that are normaly hidding inside the station and cloaking around, maybe you dont hide like the others do and i may need to take the mining lasers away to kill you.
