Edited by: Tatsu on 16/02/2004 08:28:20 I have browsed through the forums and have noticed a cry for avatar modifications and I think this is something that we definately need.
How about an area on certain stations where you can get 'plastic surgory' so to speak and completely change the way your avatar looks or just add a cool facial tat or remove an older one. These are things that are happening in real life so why can't we have them in a future simulator? =p
Also I would like to see changeable character names which keeps a record of their old name on their player info (so i could change my name from x to y) just like you can in the real world.
These are a must in my opinion as lets face it... some of us were in a hurry making our chars and/or are tired of looking at their pics and need a breath of fresh air =) Itd be a shame to have to make a whole new alt just to snag that cool name or make yourself look better than you thought you would look originally.
------------------------------------ We do not ask for your poor or your hungry. We do not want your tired and sick. It is your corrupt we claim. It is your evil that will be saught by us. With every breath we shall hunt them down. Each day we will spill their blood ętil it rains down from the skies. One day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day, you will reap it. And we will send you to whatever god you wish. |

pre beta they talked bout being able to change your pose and add accesories...i think that ,this should be implemented
as far as "plastic surgery" and name changes ...i think it would get out of hand..as soon as someone got a bounty on them they would get surgery and change thier name... the only way this would be feasable would be if they made it cost a hell of alot of isk

I wouldn't mind an option to be able to change your avatar, maybe limit it to once per month or something. Maybe once per month, with a 100k isk feee or something. Look at my avatar..he looks like a retard --

Now, now- if everyone could change their face into anything they like, then everyone would look just like ME. How fun would that be?
The truth is, beautiful people like myself depend on the many many ugly people remaining ugly.
Har. I think it's a good idea, actually. It'd be cool to be able to get new implants or accessories that show up in your portrait as well.... something that only more advanced players would have access to. Perhaps elaborate uniforms or something.

I think this is much needed ingame. YOu should be able to change the shape of your face, hair, skin and eye colour, and accessories, clothes, lighting and background, but not gender, or race. You would have to limit it to once every couple of weeks or so and make it cost a considerable amount aswell, otherwise it would just get out of hand. You should definately not be able to change your name tho, otherwise it would be very difficult to keep track of people's names etc and it would all get very confusing

Perhaps a plastic surgery option? Or a scar/burn option (if you loose your ship but not podded)...
Imagine having a massive burn to one side of your face? it could lend a whole new option to the game.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

Well I did spend quite a bit of time making my character just the way I wanted it (but then again I got some exercise in beta with all the player deletions).
I think name changes should be one time only, I know several players that are dissatisfied with their name and would like to change it.
I would like to try out more clothes though...

I think plastic surgery would be a bad idea, as would namechanges. Just too confusing. Changing avatar background, adding accesories etc. however would be marvellous.
Small changes are okay, but nothing to completely redefine your character.

I agree....we need small changes...it's to complicated to change the whole character's face. But to add new backgrounds and prefabs would be nice and divert.

Just remember everyone, at least one person has to look ugly to make everyone else look good.

I think that you should at all time be able to change not your looks but your exprestion, to show of different moods. so you can always change which direction your head is looking in , your mouth and eyebrows etc. Then maby change the hair and clothing
