I found a baby crow once. It wasn't cute, but it fell out of the nest and it was hungry so i kept it and fed it. It became cute only in a month when it grew some feathers and started making purring sounds like my cat. It was extremely smart and tried copying me in many ways. I didn't keep it in a cage, just in made-up nest in a box and took it outside many times. Eventually it decided to sleep on near by trees instead of its box and just come back for food. Within a week of this sleeping out in the wild it got eaten by something, probably a racoon, which made me sad, but keeping it in captivity for the rest of its life would not have been fair to it either.
With a kitten I'd say take it to vet immediately and make sure it gets all the shots required if you want to keep it. Cats got some very nasty diseases that are very easy for them to catch even if there aren't many other cats around.

Your spelling, or lack thereof, upsets me.

Sunday morning, 7 kids packed in the 1981 Chevy station wagon dressed in our sunday best for church. My Dad starts her up, pretty nasty belt squeeling noise then a pop!
5 kittens munched in the motor. My sisters were balling, my Dad was swearing his head off like we never heard B4! All this right before church. LOL!
Eventhough I was only 8, could not pass up the chance to see the carnage under the hood...
Pretty disgusting...

I didn't include the part where I was trying to teach it how to catch and kill grasshoppers so it could find some food by itself out in the wild. I thought it was better than trying to teach it how to scavenge from our trash can, which is what all the local crows have been doing for their food source. It kinds of looks at you sideways with one black eye and then after 5 or so minutes watching tries to repeat what you're doing. It was a lot of fun

Did they grow into ***** willow?
Speaking of which, one time on the golf course:
Quote: Towards the end of the golf course, Larry hit his ball into the woods and found it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups.
Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch.
All of a sudden ... POOF!! In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared.
She said, "I'm Mother Nature! Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups? Just for doing what you have done, you won't have any butter for your popcorn for the rest of your life.
"Better still, you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life. ... As a matter of fact, you'll never have any butter for anything for the rest of your life!!!!!"
Then POOF! .. she was gone!
After Larry recovered from the shock, he hollered for his friend, "Henry, where are you?"
Henry yells back "I'm over here in the ***** willows."
Larry shouts back, "DON'T SWING, HENRY; FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T SWING!"

When I engage these coils normally I do about 2x10^6 dps. But I try to avoid that because people, entire populations, like die. So I try to keep it to about 4x10^3 dps. |

Pretty cool...
My younger brother and I used to trap birds with the steel milk crate, stick & string setup...
Bread worked everytime as bait..
Some birds would let you handle them a bit, most just freaked out...
I also used to like feeding baby robins in their nest, big fat juicy earthworms...
