They gathered at Amarr Prime, paying homage to the Emperors statue before starting the night's work.
They knew the risks - they were heading deep into Minmatar homelands in search of the terrorist scum. But they did not care. Their love for the Emperor and Empire drove them on.
Over 20 loyal Amarr pilots from the PIE, Dark Seraph and Imperial Dreams corporations gathered to hunt and destroy the enemies of Amarr.
The operation started quietly. Yulai and Pator, normally a place where a few terrorists could invariably be found, was devoid of targets.
The fleet moved on through Teonsude to Gelfiven when a straggler spotted the People's Front of Minmatar pilot Yamatar behind the fleet.
Admiral Golan ordered the fleet to wait at the gate in the next system in the hope that the terrorist would jump though.
Sure enough he did and the CVA fleet rushed to get a lock and a scramble. Unfortunately the terrorist had jumped in slightly out of range of the many warp scramblers available to the Amarr fleet. Despite taking some damage the Minmatar was able to warp out of the trap to hide somewhere in the system.
Rather than concern themselves with the fate of one pilot the Amarr pilots decided to strike further into Minmatar space. On the way another notorious terroris Einheriar Ulrich and Einheriar Glad of Oracle were spotted in the local comm system but the CVA fleet did not make contact and these terrorists were also left behind.
In Unertek a further three terrorists from the People's Front of Minmatar (PFOM) were spotted and engaged but the dastardly Minnies were in frigates equipped with MWD and were able to escape on several occasions before the Amarr guns could be brought to bear.
The CVA fleet continued onto Klingt, one of the terrorists main bases. The terrorists from Unertek arrived and the hunt began. Despite their superior speed and manouverability both PFOM frigs were eventually destroyed.
As it seemed unlikely that the Minmatar were going to be able to succeed in gathering a fleet capable of engaging the loyal Amarrians the fleet commander decided to head for home.
Enroute the commander gathered some information on a suspected terrorist hideout in Ennur. The fleet was stopped in Osvetur while some scouts were despatched to investigate the reports.
Upon arrival in Ennur the PIE Pilot Light Kominski reported the location of Yamatar the pilot who had fled from the fleet earlier in the evening.
As many of the CVA pilots had to retire for the evening the Admiral decided it was not worth redirecting the whole fleet to Ennur and so ordered that forces were gathered for the return to Amarr.
Unfortunately this order occured during a system glitch on Light Kominski's Maller when he was incomunicado and he and another CVA cruiser pilot, Val, then encountered Yamatar in a Tempest as they tried to leave the Ennur system.
The Maller had no chance against the terrorist's armament and exploded, while Val in the other cruiser escaped with serious damage.
This setback was not welcome news for the Amarrian's despite their minor victories earlier in the evening. With heavy heart the remainder of the fleet set course for home.
Six pilots however decided to stay in Minmatar territory in an effort to obtain some revenge for the loss of Light's Maller.
In the system of Atlar these 6 pilots (4 in battleships and 2 in cruisers) set up a blockade at the Illamur and Gelfiven gates with 3 pilots at each.
The Minmatar of Peoples Front obviously bouyed by their victory against Light Kominski finally decided to commit to battle against the depleted Amarrian force.
Around six Minmatar terrorists (Yamatar, Al Haquiz, Zotz, Tyto + some others) jumped into the system at the Illamur gate attacking the three CVA pilots there.
They concentrated fire on the PIE pilot Sulla, hoping to break his defences before the other three Amarrians in the system could join the battle. But Sulla's shields held and in fact the Tempest of Yamatar started to take a battering.
By the time the 3 CVA pilots from the Gelfvien gate arrived at the Illamur gate Yamatar was already warping out with severe damage. The other People's Front of Minmatar pilots also started taking damage and began to warp out.
All fire turned on Tyto flying another battleship and at least 3 warp scramblers were activated on the Minmatar terrorist's ship. A kill looked certain.
Then to the amazement of the CVA the Minmatars ship on the very verge of destruction managed to warp out. They found out later that the Minmatar had four (yes four) Warp Stabilisers equipped to his ship.
Despite not killing a Minmatar ship the 6 CVA pilots had managed to make a similarly sized Minmatar fleet run in disarray with severe damage. Shortly thereafter several of the Minmatar pilots dissappeared from the system and it was clear that there would not be another clash that evening.

The Amarr pilots set course for home. They were saddened by the loss of Light's Maller but contented that they had once again done their duty as Amarrians and demonstrated to the Minmatar terrorists that no place is safe from the long arm of Amarrian justice.
On a personal note I would like to say that the PFOM pilots behaved as honourable enemies should.
We were pleasantly surprised when they decided to engage us in Atlar with roughly similar numbers. It was a brave thing to do - even with 4 warp stabilisers onboard

Seemingly that trip was in vain again. No wonder, the systems you visited are not yours and you have no business there. Tis time you understand this. ____________________________________________________

We dont lay claim to Minmatar space but terrorists enemies of Amarr will not be safe anywhere.
You say we have no business there but these terrorists have no business in Amarr space preying on defenceless traders conducting legal and legitimate business.
Yes last night's operation was not a success if you measure success as kills alone.
There are other reasons to conduct these missions and other measurements of success!
But anyway if you want to insist on using kills as a measure we have destroyed over 60 Minmatar terrorists ships in the past six weeks including 4 battleships and around 30 cruisers for the loss of about 10 assortd of ours. We cannot be that successful everynight.
T'was a fun battle though

Actually I think it was just two, me and Zotz. We were scouting you out to see how large a fleet you brought, and whether we could mount a defence. I didn't have a MWD, just 2 AB. Not being nitpicky here, just wanted to get the facts straight for you and us.

Just for the record again, we were not bouyed up, we were hoping to catch the rearguard of the fleet as the vanguard were jumping out. We caught it alright!

Again, fact is stranger than fiction, the number of stabilisers was actually five . The reason being the two Scorps and Blackbird I had seen in the earlier scouting foray, and the fact that my BS was uninsured. I didn't want to take any risks, and in the end it certainly looked like it was a sensible decision!
Thanks again for the visit chaps, like I said, next time we must come to your place!
Honour was met, and it was a challenge to be relished. After all, I judge our strength by the strength of the enemies we create.

Hehe okay then but there was another PFOM (not you and Zotz) in Unertek - at least for a bit
I think he just passed through but one of our pilots caught him at the Osvetur gate and almost killed him before he jumped... Can't remember the name now...
The rest of your changes I will accept
Next time you may not be so lucky Minmatar terrorist dog

...I *was* tempted to say a skimpy neglicÚe, but I'd suggest battle-wear instead. Never has war looked better, than when fitted on a female.
But yeah, I think I have figured it out by now: You get angrey. When you get angrry, you get sad. When you get sad, people get hurt.
Sounds vaguely familiar. I'll make sure not to cross your path in that particular time. Apart from if I'm in my 3K/s Tristan.
Well met, and enjoy the Amarrs, if you so choose. Tsk...'Tis but a shame, though.

Yes, many rumours abound about a bunch of realistic, and yet strangely disturbing prosthetics Athule has made in his labs

Yep. Let's best leave those subjects... I recall video footage...There was something wrong about it. Something I couldn't put my finger on...And then, there it was. Something I didn't *want* to put my finger on.
