I have a program that can calculate how much ore of each type you need to get the minerals you want. It calculates optimal coint, ie - minimal. So you won't waste your time mining for what you don't need. You can set ores availability (like no arkonor in place where you're mining, etc.).
For example:
Avatar, non-researched BPOs

With all ores available:
Dense Veldspar: 2642573 packs, 87997681 volume, 879976809 pieces
Massive Scordite: 916937 packs, 45801003 volume, 305340021 pieces
Rich Plagioclase: 1000719 packs, 116633799 volume, 333239427 pieces
Fiery Kernite: 63113 packs, 30294240 volume, 25245200 pieces
Glazed Hedbergite: 41648 packs, 62472000 volume, 20824000 pieces
Crystalline Crokite: 1068 packs, 4272000 volume, 267000 pieces
Prime Arkonor: 4028 packs, 12889600 volume, 805600 pieces
Total ore volume : 360360324
All volumes are rounded up, and used 100% refining efficiency.

Because I want to make some little isk on that :) It will save you quite some time, so it will save you isk aswell...
To try it out - post me some requirements and ores available, then I'll post results to make you sure that it works.

Lol you can make this in a spreadsheet in 5, maybe 10 minutes. Nobodies gonna pay for that.

Well you can make SOME spreadsheet with some amounts of ore... But it won't be optimal. Only if you have the simply task like 10000 trit. With large amounts of minerals needed and not all ore types available that could be very tough and ineffective. My program will show minimal volume and what's needed to get it :)

Could you give us an idea of how much you plan to charge for this? It makes a big difference as to whether I would even try it out.

Will ask for 1 mil isk each run. It's quite cheap, and frees you from some troubles :) But you need to put your request into this form:

It will be imported and translated... That just ease me the job of putting numeric values in :) I think all is clear here - amount of minerals needed, and availability of ores. I put 100 trit for example, and that only simple arkonor is present. Send me that form via eve-mail, and 1 mil isk. I will check it in transactions then answer you with sheet. Don't forget that it's 100% refining efficiency, so if you have only 85% of minerals from refining - you need to multiply all volumes by 1.15
