So,
Through hard-graft, a few set backs, but mostly 'honest'-gotten gains, I have a cool 1,000,000,000 in my wallet.
Now in RL its best to make your money work for you. Currently its sat in my wallet doing sfa. What's the best thing to do (investment wise)?
I'd love to get into t2 production but i can't see any bpos on market. contracts are v rare or totally out of my league.

How much time to you have to dedicate to managing your investment? There are lots of secured IPOs going at the moment if you want someone else to provide returns for you, but you'll make much greater margins doing something yourself. My suggestion would be to find a niche market where there isn't too much competition, but don't expect me (or anyone else) to start giving out explicit instructions. Possibly,
Can base yourself in lowsec, or at the end of a pipe, where major alliances pick stuff up. Warp Disrupt Probes, and Large Bubbles (even tech II) would work, and Tech II ships, these are all in high demand.
Moon Harvesting is also a possibility, it can bring great profit; however requires a large investment of time, and money. But if you put enough work into it, eventualy you could make alot of profit. Free beer and a cookies to first dev to mod my sig -Kurfi |

Thanks for your input folks. I do not have time to manage a POS - but I like the idea of bubble / combat ship / ammo prod near the start of a pipe. Torrenos anyone!

Depending on your play time, Mass production is a good way to make money. You can build a good ton of cheaper ships (cruisers etc) and make a good profit off of it, even by buying minerals at market price.

An Investment Plan opportunity (something like that), you give them your isk and supposedly get dividends back. The vast majority are scams or will never be that successful as they depend on otehr people keeping working really hard to generate you money so unless you know and trust the people involved generally better to steer clear.

IPO is initial public offering, at least in real life. It's when a private company offers shares for purchase to the public for the first time. The transition from a privately held corporation to a public one means a lot of changes because you are now subject to your shareholders rather than your own whim. In exchange you get a cash infusion from the sale of shares that will be used to expand your business.

And there is nothing special about an IPO versus investing in any other company that is already public. IPO are just sexy and risky. _________ If your not dyin' your not tryin'. |
