Wow after 9 months EVE finaly breaks 7k users. SO WHAT? It is easy to get lots of users with downloadable software and free trial.
The BIG qiestion is how many of these new users are going to STAY?
I have been playing since early Beta and for the last 3 months I do nothing more than log in and train new skills and HOPE that sometime CCP pulls their heads out of their behinds and adds some real content. So far the gams has evolved from a game that was great for the individual player or the big corp to a game that can only be played if you are in a big corp. It is virtually impossible for the individual or small corp to survive in the game anymore. The addition of T2 is a total joke. In typical CCP fashion and their seeming inability to find a middle ground, to make up for the fiasco of flooding the market with T1 BP's T2 is still almost non existant in the game. Beyond that T2 equipment changes absolutely nothing as far as content goes. Especially since, along with the addition of T2 ,T1 equipment was nerfed to the point that T2 is not as good as some of the old T1 modules.
So again my question how long do you think people will continue paying for a game that gets stale once you get a battle ship or 2 and get bored running the tedious and boring agent missions or mining? Sure you will get some new players but can you keep any of them for longer than 6 months?

ummm, I'm in a small corp and we aren't really having a hard time. In fact, we're making more money than before castor and having more fun as well.

Maybe you should try staying online for a bit longer

Now that was an altogether immature, useless and totally typical post from a member of m0o.
How many of the original m0o are still playing the game? Answer NONE OF THEM. Why? For the same reasons I gave. Once you have done it all the game is BORING and CCP just seems to have no clue.

Ironic....
Someone trolling the boards looking for attention. Calls another person childish.

If you don't care for the game thats great go play a different one. Many still enjoy this game and alot of them have been playing since release.

I think the game is much harder for lone players....but that dont make it a bad game.
You will have to try harder to find the fun, I love waiting in the middle of no where hoping to catch a player pirate alone to ambush. This does not happen very often though and i still buy lottery tickets

The purpose of an mmporg is to play with other players and make your own content. Pick a fight, start a war, undercut a competetor. If none of the above appeals to you, and you can't find anything to do across 5000+ solar systems with regularly 5k+ other players, then buy freelancer and sod off.
Seriously you bought an mmporg play it like one for find a single player equivelent.

I somehow feel dirty for agreeing with MOO, but in this case they are right. Quit whining and adapt to the changes in the game, or go play something else. And unless you are in MOO you cant possibly claim to know more than MOO members about the selling of their members accounts and who might have bought them back or whatever. Sounds to me like you are just trolling for attention, so you get the troll of the week award until I find someone better.

I like the game too, but you don't have to flame him because he doesn't like it.
