Im abit of a sci-fi geek and I often wondered the scale of Eve ships in relation to other sci-fi and real world artifacts.
I realised that the sig radius could be a clue to size assuming ofcourse that sig radius is half the size of the ship at its longest point. So for example:
Amarr Shuttle: would be 50m long Punisher: 76m long Omen: 400m long Apocalypse: 800m long Revelation (dread): 3.4 km long
I concluded that eve ships are ******* massive!
The Galaxy class Enterpise is only 643m long! A gou'ald Mothership is roughly 1 km long. The Empire Statebuilding is 443.5m long And the Statue of Liberty (including base) is 93m tall!
To give you another idea, and amarr shuttle is larger than the Millenium Falcon.
I put this here for enjoyment/useless information purposes a break from the usual "fix X" or "Alliance Y are a bunch of ****ypants". Enjoy.
Oh and heres a website with every sci fi sclae known to man, you can even drag them about in IE :) no eve ships though.

EVE ships are more in the "Battlefleet Gothic" scale ;D
i.e. supermassive monsters.

50m would be kinda big for a shuttle, don't you think?

Using that image, the Omen would be approx 1,000ft long (300m or so)

Just for fun, the size of an Enyo versus the size of a Hyperion.

Someone took that thing and threw Eve ships in there? Even though that doesn't seem quite right. How many KM is a Titan supposed to be?

The Avatar is approx 16km long IIRC. Don't quote me on that. ----------------------------

Ah, nice comparison...
Who'd win in a fight between Darth Vader, Cpt. James T. Kirk and Sir Molle?

To my knowledge, and it's pretty shaky, the way that chart was done was that they timed how fast a ship moved from tip to toe on an avatar, converted that to distance and used a model viewer to apply this distance to other ships. I'm probably wrong though

Damnit. My Hyperion makes me look fat An :(
True story, I mistook An for one of my drones.

That would work, the speed/distance seems about right, but I guess trying to get exact numbers will be bloody difficult due to perception distortion of the cameras.
However it would be a damn good guide. ----------------------------
