Hi there,
To start a new corp. you would need the skill Corp. Manager.
Once you have that, go to any station and click "Corp" (one of the icons on your left). It should than give you the option to "Create New" and the rest is pretty straight forward.
You might also need Ethnic relations if you want to add players who are caldari, gallente, minimater or Armaar...

Thanks Shoopy, i already have corp management and ethnic relation, i guest i just didn't see the option that was lying right under my nose.
But is it really hard to actually run a corporation, does it take the game to another level of roleplaying ? We are actually 6 friends that started a month or so ago, and we want a corp of our own just to have fun not to be constently trying to keep it apart.

From an EX-CEO to a wannabe CEO:
Is it hard to run a corp: no Is it hard to run a successfull corp: yes Is it frustrating when someone joins that you trust and rips you off: Very
If you have the skill to be a leader, In Real Life, then go for it, you need to be cold hearted and rule with an iron fist, you need to make sure that everyone does their bit for the corp, donating isk, minerals and other items.
It can be re-warding if you have the money behind you to do it, i tried, i failed, i have learned my lesson.
Goodluck.

Nalyss, me and 3 mates have formed our own corp. we have each only been playing less than 2 weeks and decided to just go it alone.
No outside help etc.
Because we all know each other and work as a team we were able to move straight to 0.6 space and hold our own despite being outclassed ship-wise.
We all have full 100% access to the corp's wealth and this gives a big incentive to do some of the duller tasks, we know the corp will grow as a result.
Right now we are pooling resources for our first Cruiser. This will mean one of us is much more powerful in comparison to the others, but it doesnt matter because we will be stronger as a group as a result.
If you all trust each other and work as a team, it shoud be real easy for you.

Thanks Kopite, i think we'll give it a try, in fact, we have nothing to lose. We already have a few cruisers amongs us so it shouldn't be a problem as for security. And as you put it, we're a couples of friends so it should only give us the leverage to start in the right direction, money and all.

We haven't founded the Corporation yet. We have a lot of topics to discuss before we do, our mission, our involvement, do we make a web page and a couple of other setting.
But, if you're still interested in a week or so, contact me and we'll be glad to have you with us. You could also check with other corporation if you're tired of working alone, some may suit you well depending on what kind of role play you're in for.
I think our corporation would be mostly for mining but not sure thought.
