Flinx Evenstar Minmatar Spartan Industries Cruel Intentions	Posted - 2007.09.25 00:06:00 - [1] Maybe a little tongue in cheek There are far more people sitting on Tranquility now, than when CCP wrote their now antiquated non scalable code, ever imagined There are also a huge number of threads moaning about suicide ganks, evil piwat camps, and a general nastiness. So how about, a second server is created. It has consensual only pvp, Freighters never die, mission runners never get busted, no one ever loses their nice shiny faction modules. Migrate all those guys over to the new server, and leave EVE as what is was intended to be on Tranquility. CCP wins as they still get all the subscription fees. PVP fans win as the server load will be cut in half...and all the carebears win as they can live on Tranq 2 (aka hello kitty in spaceships ) Win win I, erm, like kill things and stuff

That is the entire reason graphics will be updated, network traffic (next year, infiniband or whatever it is) improved and hardware increased (ramsan, blades). I would hate an eve2, it would kill the niche market, besides they tried it in china and it kinda flopped. ---------------------------- Confirmed heaviest member of RDEX........ I fully endorse the non sharded architecture, but with blizzard marketing, I truly hope they don't kill the game because of marketing greed. Instead they could offer an EVE "Lite" to the fluffier among us I, erm, like kill things and stuff

Zephlin Abath Core Element	Posted - 2007.09.25 00:19:00 - [20] 1 server is all that is needed, don't nerf the game and take away it's uniqueness and reduce it to the level of WoW with hundreds of servers unable to support so many people. This is what makes this game fun having everyone on the 1 server, not having to find out what server your friends are playing on and finding out they play on all seperate servers >.<
