Corporations come and ago in New Eden, waxing and waning along with the ambitions of those running them. I am Maulth, known as or Odysseus76 to some, and Unchained Potential has ran without a hitch for nearly three years (various name changes), up until a mere month or two ago. Not to dive to deeply into history, but suffice to say that I reached a seemingly insurmountable low, where both interest for the game, and interest for the running of ~things~ evaporated. Due to other game releases, such as TOR, the entirety of my staff disappeared with only a few exceptions. It burned me, and it burned my drive to run the corporation: So I called it quits. I left UCP, and joined some friends of mine in an alliance I had recently removed UCP from.
After a month of no responsibility and no stress, I felt like there was something.. wrong. And so there was, I was just another cog in a machine that had little input for direction. I am not a cog, for one, IGÇÖm far too oddly shaped for that. So Unchained Potential is to be revived, so that I can recraft my original image of this game, and create a fun environment for both myself, and other would-be members.
So enough with the history and personal cryfest, and foward with the details of Unchained Potential (.UCP.) We are much more than I can fit on this page, but due to the constraints of words, we are a corporation of like-minded people who do whatever it is in Eve that suits our fancy. We have members who have ran fleets and FCGÇÖd for major null-sec alliances, we have members who have worked on building anything from t1 components, to a Titan (beep beep <3), and we have members that like to log on, shoot rocks and/or people, and hang around in ventrilo, talking crap to the wide-array of Canadians weGÇÖve attracted (wtf) or raging at how retardedly OP tryndamere is. I hesitate to use the word family as a description for an online gaming group, but more or less, thatGÇÖs what we are. We donGÇÖt put up with bullshit, we reward you for taking out the trash, and if you make a mistake, we laugh at you, but then tell you how to do better next time. IGÇÖve made some lifelong friends from .UCP., and IGÇÖm hoping to add more.
Because every single recruitment post has to have a bullet list, hereGÇÖs ours:
- Experienced FCGÇÖs in lowsec, highsec, and null-sec
- Streamlined Fleet composition, so that we work off of each other, not against
- 2m SP requirement
- No purchased characters, unless it is an alt of another character of yours in corp.
- The ability to field both a Rorqual (compression) and max boosted Orca if mining is the flavor of the day
- Fleet ship reimbursement (coming soon Gäó)
- Skill plans for newer pilots, as well as a wealth of knowledge borne from experience
- A fun, lax environment where you can come to learn how to pvp, to hone your skills on ship hulls or rocks, and to fill the void that foreveralone has left you with
15% tax, which helps pay for the various day-to-day expenses of the corporation

USTZ is our primary timeframe, however we would love to build an EU tz. Our early morning miners (US) would be Euro primetime, but not much in the way of PvP yet. |
