At the moment each ship type are all the same, ie a raven looks just like any other raven. What I am thinking along the lines of is a allowing a corp logo to be shown on the exterior of the ship. This isnt going to be a huge banner but more like a square area showing the corp logo as it is shown when you view the corp details of a pilot in space.

The devs are already looking at this for allaince logo's.
Once this has been done they might think about corp logo's.

They did look into it, I think it was discarded as too much effort/server use for something that doesn't really add to the game.
That said I would be cool - I like the Idea of completly pointless things - like the idea of Yachts posted a while back - it just adds a bit more depth to the game

Really, shouldn't all the images already be on our local PCs? All you would need is an image id for the Corp and/or alliance.

Its seems that in REV3 the allaince logos will be present on ships. not sure tbh i only speculate on this: ( look top video with 3d tests with trinity II ) Linkage

i think corp logo's would be good to see, but i would also like to see the character made name of a ship displayed on it. as you would any ship in the world. if not on the ship its self then in the id banner that apears when you hold the mouse over a ships square in space.

There is NO server use, it ALL done by client, as far as it ALREADY done - You see all ships texturized.
Only one real thing is that all ships should be revisited and placeholders for logos should be added.
