Hi,
Yeah im having exactly the same problem as well, started yesterday and now just "checking status" constantly Have also phoned eclipse (in call queue for half an hour) and raised a ticket issue. Am waiting for a response. Have also been runing ping plotter which just shows first seven hops then destination address unreachable on 87.237.88.200.
Hope they fix it soon

ok.. same here, so we can ping it, but not connect and we are all from the same ISP. Like what the hell is going on here???

Yep im in too. Will wait and see what they do about the ticket i put in as well.

went for me about ten mins ago too.
Now just stuck on status unknown..... i give up!!

same here cant even get to character screen just sits on checking status and eventually status unknown!

Ok... it is not a problem with the bulk data section of loading for most of us. We are stuck on the log on screen where you put your username and password in. This is because the server status for Tranquility is reporting "checking status" then "unknown" for us!!! So it seems for what ever reason our clients can not connect to the Tranquility server! This is happening more and more frequently and mainly at busy times. It looks like its being switched like others have said. Oh and yes, I have had completely enough of it and it has gone far beyond a joke now. I am contemplating ringing eclipse and disconnecting with them if this is not resolved by the end of the day. I pay for four eve accounts plus the 8meg eclipse connection and im not paying for something I cant access and use.

Just spoke to them on the phone, apparently the engineers are working on a fix atm.
but, they have no time scale to when it will be completed by. I asked a day a week... they said hopefully within a week.
