If it logs in and trains skills for you, then no.
But chances are it'll just steal your password, log in, and transfer all of your assets to a hacker's account anyway.

Skill *planners* such as evemon, yes. Any program that supposedly logs in and changes the skills for you, if such a thing exists, no.

Illegal if it detects when your skill is done training, not illegal if it's literally just "at x time, left click at Y, right click at Z, left click at A" then no. If it's reacts to the eve program in any way than yes.

Account sharing is illegal.

The monkey would be account sharing and that is against EULA.

well then i can have 2 programs. one evemon like thing that tells program b to left click a x right click at b etc.
at last the problem is solved.

I think that still counts, since the program is still responding to input from the EVE servers...just in a more roundabout way.

If you don't want to play the game then don't. Here's a suggestion do what many do. Train short skills while playing, and long skills while afk.

Using a program for mouseclicks is a bannable offense.

I stand corrected then...i assumed that if said mouseclicks didn't depend on output from the EVE program it wasn't illegal.

In general, you can assume that anything that interacts with the game that is not directly and immediately being controlled by a human being is considered a macro and is bannable. This is especially true of any program that automatically performs a task on the game at a certain time.
The only thing that is definitely allowed are hardware based systems such as keyboards and game controllers that can perform multiple key commands with one press.

Of course odds are that you could run that skill changing program on 300 characters for 5 years and they'd never notice.
