Edited by: Kazuo Ishiguro on 25/09/2007 20:30:17 I hope you put a relatively small number of large fish in there rather than hundreds of little fish, or you'll constantly be fishing out dead ones.
Still, at least you don't need to worry about insuring the tank against theft... My research services Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant stats |

When done correctly (naturally planted, plenty of scavenger/algae-eating fish), larger tanks clean themselves. One that large probably doesn't even need a proper filter, just a couple powerheads to move water around.

It's not for sharks.
They're going to fill it with orange spice gas and stick the YTS lad in there so they can implement the new Jita hyperspace bypass.

Mmmmmm! X-Rays! ----- TANSTAAFL
When I engage these coils normally I do about 2x10^6 dps. But I try to avoid that because people, entire populations, like die. So I try to keep it to about 4x10^3 dps. |

I think the tank is at CCP HQ, and it was Helmar's dream to have one, or so he said in EON sometime.

Yes, there used to be a fish tank in the old office. This is the replacement. It's going into the extension to the office we currently occupy, into the part which will eventually be the new entry hall/recreation area. Cutting the hole in the wall to fit it took the workers about three days. If you're interested, there is more detailed discussion about this 2000 gallon monolith available here.

The water would still need to be changed, granted not as often as a 100 gallon tank but it would still go stagnant (ie "naturally" large bodies of water on earth are refreshed often by rain fall, etc). Plus gravel/sand would need to be vacuumed regularly (considering the amount of waste 2,000 gallons worth of fish would produce )
