If a ship is on the same grid as a bubble and warps through it they will not be stopped.
Is it just me or is this really stupid. Warp disruption fields should stop all warp travel end of story, maybe CCP ran into problems making the bubbles work like this but that doesn't mean they should leave it, they should keep working on it.

hehe be honest you wanna stick a bubble like halfway thru a popular system and basically catch people who pass thru your grid going gate to gate ?

I got the same problem with my alt she never shuts up always taking for me.
I really though there would be a greater response to this lets see if it will get a few more hits on the front page.

Whats the difference between putting the bubble right on the gate?
Personally I would like to see warp disruption spheres stop you even if you initiated warp before the sphere went up

I think that is the same problem.

I fully support this notion on the ground that it would add a new element of strategy and planning into the fortification of a system.

Talk about fortification...just imagine if one of the popular routes between systems lay in the orbit of a moon: Drop a bubble outside the POS shields, and you have an instant BBQ of anyone that doesn't know to take an alternate route, such as bouncing your warp off towards a separate planet, then to the stargate.

So you're happily warping through the system with, let's say, 6 AU/s and you're unlucky to warp straight through a bubble. What happens?
- You insta-stop (like a horse running into a wall), killing everyone inside a ship that is now compressed to the size of a grain of sand
- Your warp drive goes omgwtf and you slowly drop out of warp several hundred (or even thousand) km behind the bubble
I kind of like that nasty idea, but meh... dunno

Hate to burst your bubble (LOL i ***** myself up sometimes) but if someone put a bubble anywhere on the warp point between two objects you would get stuck there. Thats how they work! Were talking about the fact you can warp through a bubble if you are on the same grid as it which means if you can see the bubble and you are not inside it you can warp through it
