I've read many topics about how it would be cool to have skill stacking, or to be able to manage your skills via this website. How about this idea to fit it in the game:
A new skill is introduced, called simultaneous learning (or whatever). This skill allows you to train 1 + (level of skill) skills at the same time. But since you're human after all we have to divide our time as well over those skills. So say you have to skill to learn 2 skills at the same time. That means you can spend 50% of your time on every single skill. For example one skill takes 2 more hours to complete, and another one takes 3 more hours to complete. You decide to learn them simultaneously, so you have to divide your time over those 2 skills. This would mean that after 4 hours (2 hours x 50%)you will have finished learning skill 1, and skill 2 would need another hour to finish. (3 hours needed - 2 hours effectivily spent training this skill) CCP might choose to use another mathematical formula here, they're good at inventing those.
The downside of this (there always seems to have to be a downside in Eve) is that if you want to learn a skill fast there's no use learning other skills at the same time because it will take longer. So you will have to consider carefully what skill(s) to focus on. I think this way it would fit into the game mechanics, and it would introduce a way to learn skills simultaneously.
Any ideas, thoughts?

I was thinking about the same thing last night i would do it like this:
Allow stacking of 2-3 skills ?
it will work this way skill a = 1hour left skill b= 2 hours left total time = 3hours (if you do it manually you do skill a first then b)
if you stack em you will learn em both at the same time BUT because its 2 skills training speed will go to 50% (while learning 2 at the same time) at the end its still 3 hours training time but you dont have to switch skill training yourself. Sidepart is you cant stack the same skill like learn lvl 1 to 2 and lvl 2 to 3 __________________________

Hellmar had a similar idea.
"Warcry: Do you have any plans to extend the casual player attraction to the game? For example, right now a player can, through the official website, see skills and attributes about his/her character without having to be logged into the game. Any thought to adding the functionality to turn training on for a skill? Maybe add in queued training sequences for gaps when a player expects to be offline for a greater amount of time?
Hellmar: Hellmar: The things you mentioned are planned features. We are more inclined to allow you to train 2 skills at the same time, i.e. one long skill and one short at a 30/70 ratio. This will ensure that you don’t lose skill-training time if you can’t log in for a period of days. (You would start 2 long skills). However, we prioritize changes like this against many other possible features, so an ETA isn’t possible to predict at this point in time."
